There's a 24 hour ops team at CCP - I'm sure nobody was woken up. :)

For something like a server fire, I'm willing to bet someone 'got the call' right after immediate actions were taken.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

I gotta say HUGZNKISSES to whichever Icelandic genius thought up TiDi. It may have been maxed out for a few hours, and someone told me we flatlined the Dust server, but everything WORKED. Modules worked, targeting worked, my ship went where I said and shot what I wanted. Incredibly slowly.

2,700 people in local (or one sixteenth of everyone who was logged in) and the node didn't bomb.

So forget the 500 things CCP do that annoy me and AWESOME JOB DUDES on this one truly superb thing.

You're speaking for yourself here. I'd have to try repeatedly clicking in the same spot in space for ten minutes (yes, ten, not exaggerating) before my ship would start moving. I had to do the same pretty much with my modules and with jumping and warping.

About the only thing that actually worked when I told it to was targeting, which started right away.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Doesn't sound like you were in O2O, 900 v 900, 1,800 in local (ie a lot less than what we got today). The point is, after 10 minutes, whatever you asked for, happened. You shouldn't repeatedly click anything either, it just makes things worse for the server.

Ti Di gave us delayed and slowed response instead of screwed, unplayable, crashed server and ships lost uncontrollably which then couldn't and wouldn't be reimbursed. (IE what happened in O2O)

Why were these engineers sleeping on the job in the first place?

Don't mistake fact for arrogance, supposition for fact, or disagreement for dismissal. Perception is unique in that it can be shared or singular. Run with the pack if you wish, but think for yourself. A sandwich can be a great motivator.

I'd be willing to bet anyone at CCP who was woken up first said, WTF is waking me up. Then as soon as they saw what was happening said F'k yea, give em whatever they need.
