i wondered how long it'd take before another unsubstantiated RMT post would pop up.

Ya, RMT is a complete myth.

i didn't say it didn't exist. i just pointed out you posted about it without providing any proof.

why do people think i'm denying it's existence every time i point out people are throwing stones.

every "omg nullsec rmt" post is like me randomly calling a random forum member a murder. obviously i'd have no proof and you'd point that out... but guyz, murder happens so the random forum member has to be a murderer! see how absurd and pointless it is?

Well statistically if you get enough people together, some of them will participate in shady behavior.

So in that repsect, if there 20,000 null sec players, obviously some of them are statistically likley to be RMT'ing.

Whether or not they are supported by their leadership is another thing.

i bet more of them are murderers.

Maybe it's a blue and red donut, did you ever think about that ?!?!

The pretended fight online coalition. Dont touch their CSAA or Tech moons or they will be maaaaaad! I guess, this sounds right, if you are in the blue donut coalition. In the last years CCP recruited Devs from Goons and Test. I guess, CCP made their choice. They prefer these two big communities, because they bring them more costumers than other communities. So you are either blue to these cooperating two communties or you accept that these communities dominate EVE and you are not part of it. Thats, what this is about.

The fact is that war should be fun. This IS a GAME for those that aren't benefitting from RMT and those not benefitting from RMT should play it like a game and go shoot some spaceships. Grunts who gain nothing from their alliances other than a ticker and safe space (while paying taxes and shooting what their FC tells them to) should ask themselves why they are playing.

Only pressure from below will force the fat cats to risk their cash cows (ISK & $).

Those grunts that want to toe the party line and make their own lives more boring are entitled to do that. Don't, however, hate on those not directly involved who want to see a real war happen.

Don't hate on people who want to see PVP - I heard that that's what Eve's about.

While that is all good and true, should it be made impossible by CCP to have such a constellation or rather allow it to happen, because it is rather rare and because it might increase the population in low- and null-sec?

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

It's not just about isk or RMT, although i'm sure that's a factor.

I think the leaders of some of these groups have more fun playing 'important space diplomat' than they do having wars.

Those guys are having fun averting intergalactic butthurt, and we're having fun blowing the everloving [stuffing] out of each other. Win, win in my view.

Yeah, I agree. They've been much too successful at this though. We know who they are and I can't deny that they're all exceptionally talented and charismatic individuals.

Dictators like this seem to be a natural part of human systems of rule IRL and consequently in game too. It just irks me when the rank-and-file seem too eager to defend these (boring) systems. There should be a balance between masters and minions and the relationship is just too one-sided right now.

I'm playing very casually now but I'd rejoin either of the blocks and sideline RL to play more if things kicked off. I think lots of people would.

Fix sov and nullsec, then that might just happen.

I don't know why you guys think this. Nullsec is meant to be feudal empires. Lowsec is meant to be your mincing ground.

'Resetting' each other like this for some exhibition matches isn't remotely the same as fighting a serious war. There is nothing at stake. You may as well be having hisec duels.

And the only people who were risking butthurt were either the HBC or CFC, and the vast majority of the playerbase didn't even care who won as long as one of you got butthurt. P

Your screen colors are probably fading. Take a strong magnet and move it in a circular motion over 0.0. It will refresh the colors.
