Can't patch, gets error at 100.0%

So I tried to launch eve today, and it wouldn't patch because it crashed when applying the patch was at 100%. A message popped up whether I wanted to retry it using raised priviliges, but here again, it crashed at 100%.

I was having trouble with patching as well, so I filed a petition, but haven't seen any replies yet. I finally started downloading the entire client to do a clean install.

The download from the EVE Online site seems problematic. Still trying.

Downloading a clean install seemed to work for me,
this topic can be locked, no idea how I can lock it.

It's hit and miss, for some reason, even on a good connection, the download seems to just get cut off early.
