Incursion Fleets

Before anyone rages at me I wasn't sure where to post about incursions since I couldn't actually find a specific section for it.

I have trained up to use the basilisk for incursions and now that I have actually got the skills I don't seem to be getting invited into any fleets. I'm not sure whether this is because no one knows me/trusts me but how else are they suppose to get to know me unless they let me fly with them.

I currently advertise me self in BTL pub and local incursions channel. Is there anywhere else that I should post my fit and look for fleets?

If anyone needs a Basilisk logi for incursions message me in game and I will be repping you soon :)

Thanks.

go for Logi 5 ASAP!!!

P.S. if you are logi 4 and advertise Logi 5, you will be quiqly remembered as dishonest, theres a pretty big difrence between logi 4 and 5 for basi.

Err... no. That's just the elitist talking. "Big" difference is 1 extra rr, lol.

So no, it makes no difference. Unlike how every bit of extra dps in theory makes a difference, rr doesn't. You'll still need at least 2 logi for vg, it doesn't go down to one and a half.Lol

Join "The Valhalla Project" if you want in for 4-2 Basi (since you're L4 Logi anyways). They're very welcoming and open....as an ICU pilot I cannot say join ISN but I'll stay away from that Blink

Good thing it isn't up to you then :p

ISN Secondary got a bit higher requirements than the other communities, and all our logi's are screened and tested with experienced FC's and veteran logi team, before getting the respondsability for the expensive shiny fleets we fly in.

The Valhalla Project is another Shield fleet community, they are a good starting community, where you learn the basics in fleet movement and fleet communication.

Allied Incursion Public is another one of the shield fleet communities, they are fairly newly started, but they got a good knowledge of the basics, as their leadership is experienced and veteran incursion runners.

Those are some of the communities there is friendly and helpfull to new incursion pilots.

You should join the channels and ask any questions you might have about incursions, and they will do their very best to help you.

Join "The Valhalla Project"
They are welcoming of Logis that are fit up decently.
They will also link fits if you are curious as to how to fit up.
Logi 5 is nice but logi 4s are welcomed as well.

L5 logistics pilots can provide fleets with much more than mere repping :) scimi and oneiros in particular but also basis and guardians can be fitted with a number of tracking link/remote sensor booster depending on fleet needs.

Your reasoning is terrible (like your skills by the sounds).

If you are serious about flying logistics, Logi V should be considered mandatory and opens up all sorts of additional options with fits & ships.

If you are a part time logi scrub, train 4 and stick to guard/basi only.

Actually a pro Logi can fly a scimitar with a MWD and codebreakers as a solo logi for vanguards, it has been done many times. Can't be done by a Logi 4 pilot.

The reason you take two logis into a vangaurd site is primarilly as backup, if one disconnects then one always remains, but it only requires 4-T2 reps to maintain a pro fleet in a VG site.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.
