Fitting a pimp boat to make these missions "Fun", now comes with a very high risk of getting ganked.

Behold ladies and gentlemen a "alternative" Level 3 missions. WHY?

+ Structures drop implants consistently.
+ Missions are MUCH shorter, I've done up to 5 in an hour compared to 2 or 3 in L4s.
+ Storyline missions pop faster.
+ You can blitz L3s in a t1 fit that nobody would even consider ganking! =)
+ Easily AFK'd
+ The loot isn't worth salvaging, so you don't need to salvage!
+ Less scooping more pew pew!

The income is lower per hour if your only looking at ISK in your wallet, but implants from structures and storylines help this out.

Besides I never claimed you'd be rich... but you will have FUN =)

just saying if your missions ship can get ganked in high sec you have a **** fitting. mission ship should tank 900dps easy for active or if you rush fleets then your fit shoul dhave 70 to 80% resists and a BS with less than 150,000EHP cant be taken in high sec unless your doing something you shouldnt. if your autopiloting and you get ganked then thats your own fault ...

i dont want to come off as a **** but download EFT and check your fit to see if it can get better. my mission char has a ehp of 250,000 its not going to drop any time soon and if it does ill have kill rights on 10 people :)

You would use a 900 dps tank ship to run LVL 3 missions?

I can't think of any ships that sport that level of tank and EHP without wasting fitting (or possibly implant) slots that could be better spent on gank. That said I failfit my ships religiously so...

Really? I can destroy l4s with a t2 raven worth 200mil and noctis, angel extravaganza drops a 3% implant in a silo in one of the pockets... my definition of "fun" is seeing my wallet go from 1bil to 1.5 in a day of running missions with a friend.

l3s are just for people to get comfortable for l4s. Sure you can run 2-3 in a hour, but how much do those give? 2-3mil with occasional implant? I can earn 60mil from Mordus HQ in a hour assuming the loot gods are feeling kind.

Spreadsheet or it didn't happen.

Excel can't calculate fun levels.... a "Fun" spreadsheet?

I respectfully disagree. I look at a net promoter score spreadsheet every morning for my work as a business manager. Six thousand dollars and a company sponsored vacation to an exotic place is on the table every year where that number based on qualitative data plays a big part in the equation for determining eligibility.

It just requires some data collection. A common example of collecting qualitative data like "fun" is the little surveys for "money off your next purchase" that a lot of companies put on the bottom of receipts.

You could start my initiating a study and asking people to run missions a certain way for a certain period of time. After running missions that way you could then ask questions with a quantitative answer. You would need to collect a minimum of 25 surveys for it to be considered "a good sample." You would also need to collect a minimum 25 more surveys from people who changed nothing at all about how they missioned and compare the results to the changed group so that you have a control side to this experiment.

Example question: How much fun was your experience on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most fun and 1 being no fun at all?

Other questions would need to be designed to add weight to the fun scale for use in equations. How much income over the period each method provided. If methods with less income are more fun how much income are people willing to give up in order to add a unit of fun. Or vice versa, how much fun are people willing to exchange for income. How often is income spent in order to increase fun units later (to pvp or trade or whatever).

I suspect however, that Eve is not about having fun all the time. I suspect that Eve contributes to the satisfaction of the friendship, esteem, and self-actualization need levels of Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. In which case the user will derive the most satisfaction from whatever need(s) he or she feels is lacking in their own life.

Hello, my name is Tom, I have seen surveys like you mention, and I am a fan, infact and I frequently participate in 3 or 4 of them at a time across 100+ e-mail addreses, the wonderful world of automation makes online surveys a source of passive income, and I get to cause slow deterioration in the quality of information people use to make business decisions. I however regularly get a stream of checks from $0.50 to $15.00 depending on the survey my script completes =P

Now with 100% less Troll.

The surveys in our case go to a selection of customers we serviced the previous day. So you won't get more surveys than services and you won't be getting paid for them either.
