Back in Black..... and clueless

After an almost two year absence from EVE, I'm back..... and completely lost. Oops

When I was last actively playing BOB/GBC had just lost Delve, smack was being talked on CAOD and nullsec was reorganizing to as much of an extent as it ever does.

Now I come back and I don't even recognize many of the Alliances and Corps now holding sov, CAOD seems to have been removed, and most of my old friends either don't play anymore or went high-sec carebear.

Anyone willing to give me the Cole's (Cliff) Notes on WTF has been going on for the last while? And is there something that replaced CAOD? I've tried searching and aside from the fact that this game still contains goons and russians and supposedly 4 major power blocs, I still have no idea what's going on. Blink

If there are a lot of people looking for this info and I manage to get some decent post; I'll edit the OP and make it a resource thread.

I always thought CAOD died because all the interesting posters were told they couldn't post there any more and left the game (rather than be told what to do by some twerp).

While it doesn't give specifics, the changes in 0.0 sov can be observed here. You can see the migration of Goons, rise of TEST, and other events.

Unfortunately the game has been put on hold due to Dusting....Shocked

Basically every new thread now starts in General Discussion and gets then moved by the mods into a more appropriate sub-forum.
