It looks very nice !

Will it include a fast and easy way to get the available facilities of stations ? For example, it's a lot of clicks at the moment to see what station provide a repair facility, which is really usefull when you're in a not so known system after a fight.

Stellar job CCP! Quite literally. Ever since the Stargate realignment to point to the destination star I've been hoping for a stellar overlay showing routing. I can't wait to try it out. It feels much more sci-fi than opening that bloody star map.

Nice.

It would be great to have the option of repositioning this new info panel. On the left side of my screen i have general channels, intel channels and local chat on top of each other so there is very little room for this thing. It would be great to be able to move it like any other window (and/or positioning the different parts horizontally and not just vertically). When there is too many things on the left side this info panel just disappears behind those windows and forces us to take additional steps (minimizing those windows) to be able to read the info panel effectively.

This is what I'm talking about:
http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/130125/2013.01.25.14.43.20_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg
I already have problems reading it when the autopilot is stacking with incursions, fw or with planetary interaction.

If this info panel is keep getting new informations we should be able to configure it's position to keep it readable and usefull.

This is pretty awesome stuff!

Since you are touching info panels, I have a suggestion for the system info one:

https://www.aideronrobotics.com/intel-mock.png

(don't mock my bad mocking skillz!)

In that mock I've moved the local count (capsuleer and merc) to the system info panel. Below that line is a user configurable line of the various states of pilots. Before I get hate responses, we already have this information! Tools like https://adashboard.info/local and our own custom tools allow us to display this information by copying and pasting the local list. I'm suggesting it because the data is available in game through a ton of clicking and manual counting or by having custom tools and copy+pasting. Neither is user friendly. Please consider adding this!

Looks nice, but...

, one question i asked you in previous related topics:

Where do most players keep their local chat?

Am I reading that correctly from the screen shot?

Looks good.

I want the "Optimize" option directly in the options drop down though. That would make my day.

Looks wonderful. Keep up the great work.

One feature request: The green line in space should start at the outgoing gate in my system, not the first star in my route.

Let's hope Amamake will become highsec in turn, and Rancer a system with only 1 stargate. Bear

Regarding this WIP:

http://cdn1.eveonline.com/www/newssystem/media/64141/1/GOD2.png

I think a nice thing for us PI nerds would be to show the planet type next to its name.

Planet I (Barren)
Planet II (Ice)
Planet III (Lava)

Maybe even with the ability to access/warp-to the customs offices with a right-click on the planet name? This would save the trouble of having to navigate the Science & Industry window, the minimum size of which is unnecessarily large for PI.

Overall, I'm loving the confirmed changes on the way! You guys are doing great work.

Loving this. Especially the "Show route path in space" feature. Very immersive and has tons of potential!

Also seconding: Marcel Devereux his suggestion for an intel info panel that would count various types of pilots in local.

A devblog on Friday, with much awesomeness!

Great looking update!

Also seems Hek moved from Metropolis region into Heimatar.

Perhaps they plan to relocate entire jumpgate networks and rework the regions :p

Cynthia what would you do tho without Hek 8-12 to sit outside camping all day long ;)

Just curious: instead of "info panels", why aren't you just using windows? I'd love to move the system information to another part of the screen, but am stuck with the left-hand side becoming more and more unusable as time goes on. I'm constantly resizing my Local window on the left when doing PI, for example.

I do like that the info panels are frameless and transparent, and wish all windows could be frameless as well.

The in-space route view is very cool, btw.

Fix POSes.  Every player should want one (even if all players can't have one).

Looks awesome - I mean really good. I really like the way the UI is going.

Also - thanks for taking the bold step of sharing mockups with us - hopefully we can give input before you've coded the solution rather than after - and we'll see less of the 'Its on SiSi go try it out' followed by constructive rage from users followed by silence from the Devs cause they've scratched it out of the scrum sprint and moved on. I mean this in a constructive rage kind of way :)

The aideron robotics dude's "counts of people by overview tag" at the top of the system also get a major +1 from me. Scouting becomes much less about trying to guess how long a live scrolly list of people is, and more about gathering and giving real intel. Excellent. One addition I'd ask is that IF YOU ARE DOCKED then a count of the number of people docked with you would be awesome sauce (rather than again trying to guess the number of entries in the guests panel) - I don't want extra information - I just don't want to manually count people in a long list.
