i see what you did there :)

about the collapsible information panels:

i kinda think that the information about an ongoing incursion should not stay hidden forever, since these sanshas can pose a serious danger to a very expensive ship if they pop up unexpected

the whole autopilot in space thing:

fantastic, give me more on this framework, if i think about seeing the whole constellation or region, or everything within X LY, or whatever, i need to switch my pants. fantastic immersion work. Think of information that can currently only be accessed via the map (podkills, average pilots in space ...). Oh the possibilities. My head starts to hurt

the notification panel:

oh please, yes yes yes

the solar system panel with planets, belts and stuff:

the sun, bookmarks, 100% signatures and moons should be in that list

I'd like to be able to reorganise waypoints by dragging them around the route info panel. So if I have a bunch of waypoints, say, Jita > Rens > Dodixie, I can click on Jita and drag it to after dodixie. I understand we can "optimize" waypoints, but sometimes I don't want to go the optimal route. Right now (as far as I'm aware) I would need to remove the Jita WP and re-add it after Dodixie. Much easier if we can just drag and drop it :)

Also, clicking on a the next system (or station) in a route opens the show info panel for that system. It'd be nice if we could use a shortcut key to perform an action such as align, approach, warp, jump on the next system in the route. Traditionally I would use the OV for travelling. But recently I've been using the route info panel leaving me to use the OV for understanding what ships are around me. It just lacks some tiny improvements to make it PERFECT. Allowing a user to perform navigation actions on the next item in the route would be super mega ultra awesome.

Good work folks!

Edit: spelling.

afaik you can move around systems today (or well not drag-drop tho but move up/down the list).

Shortcuts for align, warp, jump etc are also in already so need to click on OV icons (or did I miss what you wished for?)

Yeah, you can do that in the OV. But it'd be nice to separate travel from the OV completely - using the route info panel instead. Basically the same functionality as the OV, but in the route info panel.

Also checked the waypoints windows in F10 map - you can indeed drag the WPs. Would be nice to do that in the the route panel too though. Even if it's a ctrl+click, since normal drag-drop creates the system link in chat etc.

Edit: spelling AGAIN.

I have good news for you! CCP Optimal is here to tell you about some new UI features that many of you who visit Singularity will have seen in testing.

Team Game of Drones have been working hard to bring you a new UI that is more accessible and easy to use. You can find out more about them in CCP Optimal's latest devblog.

Looks nice! Maybe the 'A' icon for route could be changed to something more resembling a route (like two dots with an arrow in between)? Now it looks more like text belonging to the name, making "A Route".

Lol

Additionally, I really hope that the autopilot can be still managed in the MAP window.

Having seen them on the test server, I do like them but right now they're a little too easy to accidentally close.

Yes! Since the design plan is to allow players to choose what they want to see displayed, it makes sense to have everything you can warp to available. It could eliminate the need for using Right-click to warp to stuff, and you wouldn't need a specific navigation tab in the overview anymore.

Nice screenshot!

The autopilot can of course be managed from it's Info Panel, no matter what view you're in.

This looks awesome!

Good planning there CCP with improving the stuff on screen you actually use a dozen times every day. That will make travelling, missioning, PI and similiar stuff way more convenient! It is also a good way to improve new player experience and flatten their learning curve a bit. I really like the design too ;-)

I only have one single question regarding this: when will we see this on TQ?

Though it isn't an info panel, it is about fighting for space.

Please make the industry window's smallest size smaller than it is now. I only use it for PI and the window is way too large then. There's no good place to put it when it's this big and still be able to see enough of PI UI elements.

Please provide an option to disable all, if not, most of it.

It takes up space needed for more useful UI elements like watch list, fleet window, cargo, local etc. This can be very frustrating in PvP. Especially for players who don't have large monitors.

Loving the panels and bringing AP settings out from the Map, awesome usability improvements and very stylish

...but the show path in space thing is totally mind-blowing in literal sense of the word.

Great stuff, I was just irritated the other day that I couldn't see my buddies online at any given time, I have to round them all up in the same channel (and some of them don't like each other so it's tough!)

I'd like to see:

Progress bar for storyline missions, maybe an option to show for each level, or just show the progress bar for the last mission type completed.

Whenever I link something, put it on a list, and show X of them in a widget. links to items, blueprints, locations, all very helpful and now that we have a spot for them, make them re-usable. I hate typing!

Keep up the good work CCP!
