Just an idea i ran through eft.

Arm explosive hard ll
EANM ll
Reactive armour hard (skill 4)
4x 1600 plate ll

2x tracking disruptors (opt range scripts)
Warp dis ll
Faction stasis web ( Given the amount of cruisers i guess you need a web over another warp dis)

5x 'arb heavy missile launchers (Heavy defender missiles) Oops
Heavy vamp
Med vamp
Large smart bomb

3x trimark

Wed drones: 2x300's / 2x600's / 1x900




Stats:

Armor 48300

Omni 151000 (Before any resistance shifting)

Spacific dmg resistence stats, taking into account reactive shifting. I used a active armor hardener in place of the shifter to replicate the effect.

Fully shifted Exp ehp: 285k (this will be higher, since t2 is 5% less res than the full shift effect + it suffered stack peniltys from the existing fitted exp hardener)

Fully shifted Kin ehp: 199k
Fully shifted Thm ehp: 224k
Fully shifted Em ehp: 353k (lol)
Also needs +5% added to these 3, given the shift/active % differance on eft.


Reasoning for defenders: Stealth bomber defence ( but taking out any missiles only ups the ehp i guess)

Reasoning for disruptors: Reducing dmg of a hard hitter bc fighting in fall off, like a cane (do they exist in wh space Roll)

Reasoning behind smart bomb: A deterence/killing of drones

Reasoning behind the web drone mix up: Faster drones get in first to help the med drones catch up, who in turn help the heavy web drone catch up. This would hopefully alow you to keep a point on a faster ship till fleet arrive, if it was your only option. Then, the 13+k web may also play a part (doubt it though)


Possible changes: Drop the tracking disruptors, fit a mwd + another web or point. Will reduce defence vs bigger numbers but further increase the chance of pinning as ship/s down. Also, consideration of eccm counter measure?.. or has ecm all but died.

Defender Missiles are suppose to be terribad.

I wanted to use webbing drones with a Phoon and was told: "Never bring those again". I still like the idea but they are bad.

I may be wrong but tracking disruptors won't do much for a bs. Much less a slow armor bs with no prop mod. So that would be a no from me.

Heavy Missiles? You are fly a split weapon bonus. Neither bonus applies to heavy missiles.

Ya got no point! It's a bait ship? Ain't that kinda like fishing with no hook?

If you're going to do defenders, you probably want to use rapid light launchers for better rate of fire.... Or better yet don't bother and just use smart bombs staggered. Any smartbomb that does 70 or more damage should pop heavy missiles in one cycle.

Theirs a point on it, always was ;p. The consideration was dropping disruptors for a MWD pluss additional point or eccm.

As far as i read heavy defenders will surve taking out stealth bomber torps far more than lights. But i could be wrong on that.

Needs better resists, if you drop 2 plates and the reactive hardener for a Thermic, Kinetic and a damage control, you might get less ehp, but it will be uniform constant EHP, also, if it's a bait ship you might want a cap booster and a Warp Scrambler not a disruptor, because stuff will just MWD away from you. Couple of heavy neutralisers in the high and a heavy vampire.
