So after seeing the mid slots on this tiny ship I was thinking about what i could do with it
Scenario
Fight or flight PVP SOLO

Target
T1 frigate, navy frigate

Ship

HOOKBILL

FIT

HIGH---MISSLE LAUNCHERs!
MID--MULTI JAMMER 2 x 4/ POINT
LOW--DAMAGE MOD/POSSIBLE CPU MOD
RIGS?- some jamming boost perhaps?

Now im new here so feel free to tell me this wont work but i looked at the majority of tier 3 tech 1 ships and they appear to
have on average 10 racial target points. unknown if multispecs get nerfs once stacked 4 t2 modules would net 9.6 points + any rig/implant boost meaning target would more likely be perma jammed and slighty shocked that this hookbill has no tank not much gank. but kicking ass!

That is not even close to how that works. Each ECM unit will be calculated against the target strength independently...So, you have 4 chances at less than 25% each. Further, you will have no prop mod so even if by some miracle you permajammed something it would just burn out of range and warp off.

Also, sensor strength overall has increased significantly since Retribution with the addition of the sensor compensation skills.


ECM drones are the only way to make ECM useful on an unbonused ship.

That is a fit that will guarantee you die a lot.

Your ceo/directors should have been able to tell you/help you with this.

The fact that you needed to ask here means it's time for a better corp.


After next DT - convo me. We are low sec based, new player friendly corp.

We will be back in Caldari FW Big smile (after next dt).

Always Always ask in corp first.

Have a look at our KB for some good HB fits some of our pilots are very competant in them.......(can't stand them myself, annoying kitey little b'stards!)

If your embarrassed to ask your corp about pvp fits and ideas then read the post above again.....it might be time for a new corp

one that will show you the ropes

If you want Ewar on a hookbill, either use one slot as a TD and give any turret based targets hell...or go for a longer range point and damage and go with a Senor Damp

Damage Control II
200mm Plate

2x X5 Prototype Engine Enervator
Warp Scrambler II
Limited 1MN Afterburner
Balmer Series Tracking Disruptor I

3x Rocket Launcher II

Small Trimark Armor Pump I
Small Anti-Kinetic Pump I
Small Anti-Explosive Pump I

Few things I'd do differently with mine - T2 Plate (fits with my implants) after the last buffs once the next set of buffs come in reducing plate mass, Gistii B-Type AB because I am an idort.

This is exactly how I would fit a Hookbill if I flew the ship.
