Thank you very much.
But no your wolf and exec wouldn´t be such a problem for me if you hadn´t these boosts. There would be any problem to eat first the exec and then trying to chew you down. But if your wolf goes almost 4.5k and the exec is also going speeds where missiles hit **** and the legion boosts give him tank like hell there is no way to get even out.

Thank you also that minmatar militia has managed it to change fw pvp to "who has more boosts in systems and I am such a hero I can kill every faction and tech 2 frig in my exec because I have so good boosts."
Gratulation. You are a hero. I wanted to kill a boosted exec and you killed me with a boosted wolf while exec was tanking and holding point. You are a very very good pilot (caution: irony is on).
Dscan won´t help you when you can´t get away when the other ship with boosts can tackle you while asleep.

It would have been a good fight. I would have even engaged you and the exec tohgether, killed the exec first and then tried to chew you. But with loki PLUS legion boosts there is no way.
I wouldn´t bother loosing my hook if I would have any chance. But I hadn´t.
Without the boosts I would have engaged and maybe lost my hook and I would have been happy having a good fight. Had yesterday after that a good fight vs Ushra Khan (the last minnie corp that does pvp). My hook vs Thrasher and Reti. They managed to chicken out but it was fun. Fun without being automatically dead because my opponent uses boosts.
Time of pvp in Kam seems to be over. Because you minnies managed it to make everything not about pvp but "who has more boosts in system".

I have very many people who can tell you that it is possible to get scrammed by a harpy at 30+km. Because they already got scrammed at 30+km. Me too.
Ask Gorski....
Learn the game.

Edit: and don´t compare kiting with using loki links. Kiting is even okay vs brawlers because the brawler has a chance to grab you. But not if you have interceptor speed in an assault frig with unbelievable point range. With that a brawler is auto dead and a kiter without lokis will get kited.

No, it is not possible. Game design is sloppy, and it tells you "A is trying to warp scramble B" even if it is warp disruptor (which can easily have 40 km range).

Yeah congrats. My hook got eaten 2 mins ago by a offgrid legion and loki boosted executioner with weird speed, weird point range and due to legion boost even really hard tank.
That is a completely joke.

Your telling some whopping porkies again Colt, and i cant even start to entertain your ''i would have killed you both'' fantasy (that actually only exists in your own head)

I am going to assume you are a younger player in RL and upset about your loss so i'll stop replying here and try and leave you with something positive to take away from all of this - its completely up to you if you bother listening or not, go knock yourself out:

1) Read every article on this site twice. Bookmark it IG and use the know your enemy section regularly >> http://www.evealtruist.com/

2) Flick through these:

3) Most importantly > try and take something from each one of your losses, learn anything you can from it and try to be completely honest and critical with your self whilst doing it.

Yep everyone should be dual boxing alts. ALTSONLINE.

Face it, as the OGBs proliferate eve becomes worse.

For once, I find myself agreeing with Cearain. I'm delighted that CCP is finally doing something about OGB.

It seems this has been put on the back burner. I posted about it here:

While i agree to a certain extend the thing is that you will always have a disadvantage against a dual boxing player and the solution would always be to get an alt yourself or friends to back you up. OGB's are actually the least of people's problem in 1vs1. I'd rather fight a boosted SFI than an SFI with a falcon alt. Or heck an SFI with an SFI alt.

CCP have already said in a devblog that off-grid boosting will be removed.

IF someone wants to try to dual box too ships and fight me that is ok. Its not easy to do and I may end up with 2 kills. But the main thing is this is pretty rare. Yes there are a few guys who bring in the alt falcon or the alt logistics. But they become well known and easilly avoided - unless you want to fight that.

Having an alt ogb in a safe does not take any time or attention away from your dps ship. Its just a matter of if you want to pay for 2 accounts you win all the time.

Yeah but in the last csm meeting they refered to the time line like waiting for a miracle to happen.

I take it everyone has heard that links are being smashed in the face wholesale, instead of simply an OGB nerf?

Is this new information? All I have read is that t3 boosters are being nerfed and off grid boosts are being removed completely.

Yeah, I was bitching about links as a whole (instead of just off grid) in the armor thread and Fozzie confirmed an incoming nerf to all link strength post 1.1.

Ed: Honestly, the number of people who have totally glazed over that particular revelation staggers me.

Boosting alts are indeed annoying.

Problem that you have is that 99.999% of boosting alts in FW orbit the gates and so are safe unless you can alpha them whilst someone else is engaging their main.

Even if they were in the plex, the fact that you can't warp around inside means that they would be safe at range.

Maybe but you could run them down and force them off the field / tackle them and we're only talking about T3 cruisers in medium plexes.

I'm pretty excited, actually. It's not that I haven't trained my own links up (3x Mindlink Skirmish pilots, 2x full combat leadership, 1 more with "merely good" leadership, capable of flying all T3s, CS5, already own the ships and they're in place, blah blah blah blah blah), but rather that... well, I just dislike that links are all but mandatory.

I look forward to the new era of faction ships, faction mods, and implants being the make or break. I look forward to the new era of your piloting skill mattering more than who is in your fleet. I look forward to the new era of solo PVP.

if FW is ment for learning to pvp then you have to allow links too so people learn what those do when someone uses those.

Make people ahve to use them on grid so people also learn how to choose target correctly.

You learn to PVP by PVPing and getting tips from other PVPers. FW is not for "learning to PVP" any more than high sec is or null sec or W space or even the rest of low sec.

Or just make them not mandatory in the first place. That'd be grand.
