CCP does backend updates all the time without telling us what they did, because what they did is probably boring database improvements and has nothing to do with us. vOv

This thread shows up literally every time they do that. Every time, nothing the players can see changes.

Yes true... and CCP was called out a long time ago and they promised, (let me restate that...) THEY promised to us that they would be more transparent and provide notes to us. They are quietly slipping into their 'old ways' forum fanbois.

I think it was yesterday I saw a thread about a bug involving the skill queue that under specific circumstances (injecting lots of skills all at once) caused a mismatch between client and database. Apparently, this had the unfortunate result of failure to complete training of the current skill. Might the patch have been a quick fix for that?

Or it could have been a quick fix for any number of bug fixes. Chances are if it was a noticeable bug fix there would have been patch notes.

The most likely explanation is that it was a backend change that has no noticeable effect on players.
