I've been living in a C3 LS hole for a while and noticed there was not much traffic. I was wondering if it is about the same in a C1 LS hole? What other valid exits will be seen? HS or higher WH's?

You can get roaming holes to just about anywhere but its all random. Low sec statics don't see a lot of traffic. exception might be the C2 with a lowsec and another hole though most of that traffic will be coming from the other hole not the low sec. its kinda barren in low sec, other then faction war and those guys aint scanning for wormholes

Generally, HS > LS > Null in terms of how much traffic you get from your static of people coming in to gank you or steal your sites. HS > Null > LS in terms of random holes being used to get to wherever your static goes.

Im living in a C1 LS. Almost no visitors.
It gets boring at times.
I have random wormholes to C1-5 +hs and null.

moving in here might have been a mistake.

you could always take the initiative and move to a better hole then

Hisec static isn't that much better, 90% of visitors that come in are nubs on their first visit to wormholes, only rarely you get any kind of proper fights from HS. And even then it happens on the hisec hole, which is as much fun as station games.

Best fights come from other wormholes.

It can be dangerous trying to generalize, but I will anyhow. Having lived in WH's with various statics I generally found:

HS statics tend to have a bit more traffic. As Roime said, more will be noobs that happily sit uncloaked at zero at a CO scanning. You will also find HS gangs who scan for WH's looking for site runners to gank. They often don't give a good fight though, cause they aren't interested in a straight up brawl.

LS statics were far more quiet. But the visitors were generally hunting. Usually a cloaky T3 or stealth bomber looking for a gank.

C3's generally seemed to get far more k162 traffic, as people with C3 statics seem to roll them a lot more.

I find C3s with HS statics get a fair bit of traffic via connecting C4-6 with C3 statics. C2s with HS see similar usage. C1 with HS static are less popular for logistics as you can't fit Orca or Battle Ships. (This is why c4-c6 with C1 static are rarely inhabited.) Of course any C1-3 with a high sec static is often claimed. If you are rolling your static to get high sec access often you just send a scout through, check the j number, and if it lacks a HS static you roll again.

As far as visitors I disagree that 90% of visitor are newbies. You remember, and see newbies more as experienced day tripers generally decide to leave once they see a POS with FF. Also wormhole alliances I've been with often scout HS for targets when they have a fleets moving between holes or are fighting a (pointless) HS war.

Mostly you'll find people leave your system alone if you have a well fit large POS, and aren't mining or ratting when they come.
