I actually didn't realise suspect flags allowed you to be podded too.

Talk about overkill - flipping a can lets everyone in the universe shoot *and* pod you?

Where's the fun in that?

Don't go suspect in a shuttle unless you're scooping gank loot. Bring something that can fight.

Now, let's see. Just how much gank loot can a shuttle hold? People want to know. :)

Indeed that comment made me WHAT ?What?

And also, anyone can freely scoop your frozen ass into cargo, and sell you on public contracts.

i always find it funny that corpses stay in space not longer than for 5-10 minutes. Then they "disappear".

Or they're (finally) putting some teeth behind that whole actions have consequences statement.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Tonight i decided to try out the new suspect mechanic as i have been gone for a few months. I went in a shuttle to a can and took from it and instantly got shot, so i went to a far off space station and got into the rookie ship that was waiting for me there. I undocked and decide to go back to the station whence i came, thinking that the worst that could happen is i lose my rookie ship, but instead i got podded.
I am not whining, i just want to understand the mechanics, can a suspect be freely podded in high sec without consequence to the killer even though the suspect has not shot a single shot?

You committed the crime of stealing.
You are automatically sentenced to death for a period of time.

Actually the "ISD wannabes" (as in people not actually ISDs yet) tend to be much better than the ISDs themselves. The ISDs tend to be admins more than anything else. People like myself, J'Poll, and Kieth keep that place together and productive.

I haven't been there in a while though...

It's not the suspect flag that allows you to podkill people, it's the limited engagement that.

If you're suspect flagged and someone shoots you, then you kill them you're allowed to podkill them too.

Note that any engagement where you can legally shoot someone in high sec now allows you to also legally pod them. This will include the dueling system, since it is based on the Limited Engagement timer.

Suspect games are fun, just learn how to get your pod out.

Sorry, but many people who started out as pirates 5 years ago played poorly then, and still do.

No, that's not true.
With a suspect flag you can be podkilled, there doesn't have to be a limited engagement in place.
