Yes, please do tell us how we can wage war without going through the sov system.

just few examples:
- NPC 0.0 wars
- high-sec wars
- WH wars

PS: i don't say this is fun or whatever. You asked for examples of wars without sov grind? You have it.

As demonstrated by the averted war between the CFC and the HBC, two coalitions who have been itching to shoot at each other for months, sov mechanics need to be fixed. Now. We're utterly fed up with dealing with timers and structure bashes and space that people don't care enough about to defend. We want battles, exploding ships, and goodfights, but these are becoming increasingly rare as more people get tired of the current sov mechanics.

So please, CCP, focus the summer expansion on sovereignty mechanics. I know it's a big project, but it needs to be done more than anything else and it needs to happen sooner rather than later.

If its getting boring, why don't you fix the problem by you or your corp leaving the alliance and creat some conflict somewhere else?
Working as intended.

What you mean to say is....

Yes, please do tell us how we can wage war with HBC and not disrupt Shadoo's precious tech moons :)

The big hole in the argument for me is that apparently the same sov mechanics which CFC used to build themselves into the largest coalition in the game are suddenly now somehow broken when it's the HBC they'll be facing off against.

So in actuality you guys did it to yourselves. You let another budding coalition go unchecked to grow as large as you guys and now claim game mechanics keep you from fighting. Please. Roll

I don't care about Shadoo's tech moons. :)

FYI we're allowed to shoot at TEST, we're just not allowed to shoot each-other's structures. At the moment.

Even if there are other reasons for us not going to war (and I frankly don't know the real reasons), the sov system is utter **** and does need to be changed. We've been saying this for a long time.

Do you deny that?

I am not denying the sov system is crap. What I find to be total bull **** is the two largest coalitions in the game, who many members want to fight, their leadership is throwing their hands up in the air claiming, "Because of sov!" as a reason to continue to not fight. The real reason is because of Tech.

What I want to know is where is that money going if not used for war?

but they are fighting, test and goons reset each other. they're not going to war because of sov, but that hasn't stopped them shooting each other.

as they're shooting each other, one would imagine the money is going to the SRP.

If the leadership said it was because of sov, I'd certainly be interested to know where you saw it.

This.....Everyone including CCP knows where the Tech money is going. They just don't want to say the dirty little acronym associated with it.

Then why'd you spend all that time shooting IRC structures literally last week if you hate structures so much?

i mean sov system sucks but demanding the fix be based on PL's unwillingness to risk its tech moons in CFC space and mittani's risk-averse leadership style is kind of like basing nullsec fixes off eve-gd complaints over gatecamps and bubbles on null-high chokepoints 'keeping people out'.
