Marauder Ganking

Hello,

I am looking for information on Marauder Ganking.

It is a bit surprising to see that there is so little about it. A forum search on "Marauder" gives 59 pages of results, the term "Marauder ganking" ... zero, not a single comment!

Considering how thin Marauders are, having less eHP than their T1 variants, and seeing so many players fitting them with faction / deadspace gear and waving their fits around on Incursion chats has this to be an 'accident just waiting to happen'.

Now, I do not like accidents and wish to fit wisely and cost effective. I am not asking for fittings, but still do want to know why there is so little about this topic.

What am I missing? Shocked

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I would imagine teir 3 bcs would be more cost effective or catching them at a gate. (resists would be off)
Buhhdust Princess
Mind Games.
Suddenly Spaceships.

You're missing nothing. Marauder ganking is probably some of the most profitable ganking in-game. Especially as u dont need 9 of you, like a freighter.

What he's saying. T3s are also vulnerable to this as I know of at least one going down to a paid hit squad when its mods were turned off.

You know there are miners that fit for yield, same thing here...fit for dps and virtually no to little tank, plus either he was at war or shot at a ninja wino...who cares if a wino rummages thru a wreck pft, cheapo stuff anyway.

And I for one always assume someone will shoot at me.

I suppose its the same as ganking like an Orca

Scan their fit, calculate their EHP, calculate how many Tornados you need to alpha them and grab them on an undock or in the middle of a mission or something . Don't assume they won't have their invulns or whatever off.

We scanned him down and ganked him.
He didn't shoot at us and we were not at war.
