For those of you interested (I doubt there will be many) the atlas I was working on concerning Anoikis is now being made public.

The link for it is here Please Remember it is a work in progress (I'm still uploading some things to the public section) and enjoy

Some interesting calculations have come out and are in in the process of being put in the public viewing section but here's a preview:

What these cool calculations do: We believe they can predict the mass capacity of a given wormhole more accurately ... so no more ending up on the wrong side of a wormhole when closing by mass.

The Calculation method:

Take a given Anoikis system ... calculate distance to all possible destinations (for a class 2 B274 wormhole calculate distances from the Anoikis system to all hi sec systems 1212 systems in all). Take the mean of the distances. Assume that the given mass capacity ( 2 Billion kg for a B274) refers to the mean distance. Calculate the deviation from mean for each possible destination system. The deviation from mean distance is also the deviation from mean mass.

Also interesting is that when you multiply the mass capacity by the distance covered you get the energy of the wormhole ... class 2 Anoikis systems seem to have an energy around 2.5e+18 kgkm while class 1 Anoikis systems seem to have an energy around 1.25e+18 kgkm. Wonder if this pattern will bear out for class 3 and above?

The calculations and tables will be placed in the public viewing section as soon as possible for your testing pleasure.

Interesting.

The amount of work on display here is surely astounding.

Why thank you Cardinal ... the tables showing the latest round of calculations will be a bit delayed however as it's proving to be a bit difficult to make them readable due to their sheer size ... for our example class 2 system there's over 1200 calculations displayed so that's proving to be a bit of a challenge. I may have to provide something like a summary but I hesitate to do that as some of the valuable information is lost by summarizing

I must admit I can't understand the database. I see a lot of work has been put into it, but I can't actually figure out how it works or what I'm looking at. I guess I should have paid more attention to the space-geography lessons I took.

If you have any questions feel free to ask ... I've been working on this awhile so when I set up the interface things that are obvious to me might be not so obvious to others ... In other words ask away your questions will probably help me improve the interface. Thanks

Interesting work. One addendum though: Wormhole types S199 and B499 are documented to originate in low-security space in addition to 0.0.

Thanks for the info ... am I correct in guessing that the S199 originating in Low Sec lands in Null Sec and the B449 originating in Low Sec lands in High Sec?

I am actually looking to fill in the unknowns in that chart and that info would fill in 2 slots nicely leaving only 3 unknown types of connections
