HAD the exact same problem.

Relogged, paused, unpaused, removed the skill. Now it works.

What i did before: Jumpclone'd.

So what I suggest: After Jumpcloning (what I assume u did) remove all skills, relog. Add skills and start training.

No jumpcloning involved either. IT literally was out of the blue as far as I can tell. After Retribution release.

Both my issues occurred prior to Retribution. I don't see the correlation.

Interesting. But that's the only time it happened for me. I can after all only post based on experience.

I wonder if you could hit bottom that way, and keep digging. -30.000.000 SP - EPIC.

Then you should earn money from "health care" on each podding. Cool

I had the same problem, but I didn't touch my skillqueue to preserve the 'crime scene' while I petitioned it.

After DT the COMPLETION IMMINENT vanished and my timers would start again after hitting the apply button. So much for preservation.... I lost some 10~11 hours because of that.

What I was doing before was buying skillbooks from a nearby station, inserting said skillbooks and queuing them up. I am sure I hit apply and the timers were running.

Then I did some PI, and logged off. Next time I logged on the skillqueue is frozen..

Actually, I would imagine this would be a case where you might have been podded and your training time didn't update, so your client was out of synch with the actual server clock. Unless you weren't podded, in which case I suggest filing a petition, but be aware it may take some time to be finished as we're still under a post-holidays backlog.

CCP staff seem to be forever, going on holiday, on holiday, or just back from holiday.

This is not a signature.

I had this kind situation.
So i logged out about 23 eve, skill completed about 06 eve next day ... and every thing stopped. When i logged ~16 eve time the only thing that i needed is to click APPLY and every thing begin to skill again.
After petition i was reibursed 80% of SP for those 10hours.

Yeah, i'm gonna get a reimbursement as well (petitiion has gone thru, GMs were very helpful about it) but the awareness about this problem is very little and as a programmer myself it would be good if the cause were found out. Be sure to provide specific details on what your last actions were regarding the skillqueue to help out the devs as well.

Was it the Retribution patch? The DUST integration? Some mini patches? ... that broke something in the system.

Just to say i had the exact same issue however it was Level 2 heavy missiles that caused the problem.

Jump Clone hadnt been performed in weeks, it occured not long after i had inserted some new skills so not sure if thats related

Tried apply and pause, ran repair tool, logged and relogged etc

Skills have started updating again, estimated loss of sp would be no more than 10K, not a great deal but still ...

This is a known issue, we have a defect with a fix that should go out when the next big Retribution patch goes live (1.1). You should be able to petition lost training time, alternatively try removing some skills from the training queue and logging out and back in.

Apologies for this.

No, it's not skill specific per se, it's rather the fact that on adding "too many" skills (either injecting them or adding them to the queue) it confused the database and will causes the currently training skill to just not complete correctly. I'd say the best work around would be to train a few skills at a time and try not to inject skills while training, but that's a bit much to ask, so just bear with us, hopefully the fix resolves this. Sorry again, I know this is a bit of a pain.

Aha im defiantly guilty of that then, i think i fired in some 15 skills at once when my incident first occured. Must have effected newer players to a greater extent then! i know when i first started this character i had the max number of skills possible in the queue for the first few days getting the level 1 and 2s done

Had this issue also. Confirming that removing the skills from skill queu and then re-adding fixes the problem.

Nope.

I'm currently Level 5 - ing many many long skills and all I had done was queue up the next single skill, so it is not entirely related to 'too many' injected skills at all.
