So Ive been playing the game some months now, had this cool plan to build a amarr pilot fit for missioning and a minmatar pilot for pvp but my dreams were shattered by the last update.
I joined a corp based in amarr space and being loyal lil old me I wish to stay here, the only problem is, my toons have been rendered useless
My PVE toon can't PVE because of this over powered uncounterable ewar
and my PVP toon cant get off the dock cos he aint being funded!
after countless petition, bug reporting, forum posting its come to my attention that CCP just do not seem to care,
with minimal forum feedback that appears to be just a few words to keep customers on their seats.
responses from petitions and bug reporting seems almost robitic,
u know like them call centres who read from a script blah dee blah blah
Sure I can train my PVE toon to fire missles but i simply do not want to. and being a sandbox mmo I believe I should be able to fly pve the same as any other race can without this unfair advantage
Tengus got a slight debuff but there still roaming around like nothing happened
but us turret pilots who want to kill sansha are doomed.
weres the love ccp
focus on current issue. :(

You're in CVA so you got everything bass-ackwards anyway. You should be pvpin' with your Amarr character and make your Minnie character work his a$$ off. You know, like any good slave should.

Hi Vice Vortex

It's a bit tough at the moment - but the Devs are working on the missioning thing. We will see more with the Battleship and other ship balancing - they'll probably revist the mission balance then too. There are lots of Dev posts on threads about PvE at the moment. You are not alone and you are not being ignored!

OK - that's my fan-boi over. To support your PvP toon - might I suggest some - Lo-Sec Planetary Interaction. It is cheap - realativly lo risk - and will give you an incoming heading towards 66Mil a week once you have developed a plan. If both of your characters do this you will have plenty of funds to do at least Frigate PvP for "Free".

I hope this suggestion opens up an avenue for you to explore. I now make more from PI than I do from Missions. Untill Missions get some TLC.

Take care,

hi Claire , thanks for the input, I guess there is some light at the end of this tunnel, I guess im just really miffed about getting robotic responses from dev teams :L

Pve balancing? There's nothing to balance about pve. They don't need to "balance" you against the rats, they need to rollback what they broke. Rolling back td to its former state involves changing a single numeric value, don't "balance" it, do it.Roll

since you're in CVA, why don't you do your PVE in nullsec? I doubt you'll have much trouble with tracking disruptors in asteroid belts.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

Lets balance PVE by making the computer run NPCs dumb enough to defeat....

Are both toons on one account? Dual boxing helps. Otherwise get some buddies to mission with.

I give you a better advice, no dual boxing, no skill plan changing, it's called: Apocalypse navy issue (even the normal one works but has lower dps)

This ship is cap stable with 20.6 km optimal range +10 falloff with conflagration and multifreq,61.9+10 with scorch, 348m/s
You can also do 7/10 ded space complex with it without any problem untill last room where you will probably have to warp off once.

With conflagration crystals has 865 dps and 618 with scorch. Not as good as other ships but it runs anomalies with no problem.

changes a lot because when any ship is tracking disrupting you, just keep them at 5000m range and shoot with ultraviolet or scorch (i use ultraviolet because scorch have tracking penalties ) and since you are 3 times faster than a sansha TD battleship you just **** them. You just need that AB only for the tracking disruption wave in forsaken hubs, in any other wave you can just stay in the middle of the anomalies shooting stuff with conflagration up to 28km :D

I use that ship every day in CVA space and i really have no problem with it.

i shoot sanshas since many monthes (years?) and did not noticed a change regarding TD strenght.

aggro change, yes, drones boats being more painfull to use, yes, guristas EWAR still OP, yes, but TD is not an issue.

i do fly matar( loki / pest / macha / cane) / gallente (both drone and blaster) and TD is no problem at all

Sounds like you should join a farming corp in w-space to make your isk, more isk, less risk, simpler combat.

It changes nothing. The whole issue is that your tracking is in the gutter along with range, so that once you close to 5km, you can't hit. If td had the same counter as dampening, there would've been no issue. There no "counter" other than dual boxing, period. Stop wasting your time with these EFT warriors who never undock and have no idea what they're talking about.

Go ahead and try that pulse n.apoc in Sansha blockade, but be ready to lose said n.apoc.P

This ship actually has a 6 cm optimal with 2 cm falloff against Sansha. This equates to approximately 0 turret dps.
