Can anybody please help me import the overview settings on a Mac. I am running Mountain Lion. I found the Eve folder but cannot find the Overview or settings folder.

I'm a diplomat. Sometimes i throw 425mm wide briefcases at enemy. Such is EVE.

Close. It is in your home directory, not /Library:

~/Library/Application\ Support/EVE\ Online\ Clone\ 1/p_drive/My\ Documents/EVE/Overview

You have to create the Overview folder on a fresh install.

One way to find where to put the file is to save your current overview (whatever it is) and give it a odd name. Then go to the Library and search for it. (Note Finder will not normally search the Library folder, you got to tell it to do so).

I search for the file, It does not pop up anywhere. I check Library also, ~ not /

You got to first have a finder window for the library open, and it has to be the library under your user name. The easiest way to get to that one is hold down the option key and click on the "go" menu.

Then type in the file name
Select "file name contains"
Then of the two options "Search: This Mac "Library", select Library.

That works for me.

i find this interesting because..... ~/Library/Application Support/ provides NO sub-folder of Eve Online...so i'm at a horrid snag..myself....
