I think I found my new game: Artemis spaceship bridge simulator. Now I just need to find four or five other dorks for a spaceship bridge simulator party. I want to be Kirk, if we can get some ladies to show up and to play kissable alien babes. Otherwise I'm calling dibs on Scotty.
While you're at it, check out the video of a full dress spaceship bridge simulator op.

Nucwear wessels is all fine and well, but Checkov is also always getting blown off his station, or getting electrocuted, or getting nasty ear worms, and spends a lot of time screaming in pain and/or in hospital.

I'll be the guy in the blue shirt who shows up in the background, does something pointless, then leaves again before the drama starts.

Can I be Zapp Brannigan?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Did you notice how those guys in the video where getting thrown around from impacts? I'd say seat belts have to be mandatory for this op. Sorry, we can't make any exceptions.

Actually, how come nobody on the Enterprise had a seat belt? Or head protection to put on after the first photon torpedo hit? Seems like the Federation has pretty lax safety standards.

And yet surprisingly low casualties from impact and acceleration injuries.

Conclusion: The Enterprise was made of Nerf.

I shall be Dr. Sevrin, leader of the space hippies.

Our goal will be to take command of the ship using music and lofty ideals.

It's got a bit of a learning curve, but pretty fun.

Especially the bit with the space whales.

Yeah, that one does look more fun. Pretty relaxed. They even had a dog. "Can somebody get some pretzels for the captain?" Smile

I've been secretly enjoying Star Trek for years. I am no expert and couldn't tell a Klingon from an "Engines cannae take it"

This does look like a really good laugh though. I might even consider wearing a uniform.
