According to Hans' blog, he won't be running for reelection:

http://hansshotfirst.blogspot.com/2013/01/clear-skies.html

While I've not been shy of poking at him when I think he needs to look at things differently, I have to say even from my outsider's view: he's been a great asset to CSM 7 and I don't know if it could have been nearly as successful without him, even with the few other stand out members. Insiders seem to have an even higher opinion.

Hans,

You've had more positive impact in one term than many have had with several. I think many of the successes in the improvement of Faction War and even other parts owe themselves at least in part to you and the galvanizing affect you've had on the community.

I've never regretted sending most of my votes your way.

Hope you stay in game and keep a hand in as adviser to future CSMs. Good luck and happy times to you and your family!

May your wingy-bits stay forever flying, my friend.

I feel that the vote I gave Hans was well-spent and I feel pretty well represented to date.

I was happy when he got elected and especially happy he got a chance to go to Iceland. He worked very hard and certainly earned it.

We're lucky to have people of Han' calibre who are willing to put in so much unpaid effort to make EVE better for all of us, even if only for 1 year.

Hans is a seriously good CSM (emphasis on "still"). Any aspiring CSM duders who are jaded and think it's all about ~bloc votes~ should look to Hans and Two Step for guidance. I have no doubt that if Hans ran for CSM 8 he would emulate Two Step's CSM 7 success - well deserved in both cases.

Hans, your hard work was (is) appreciated, even by us Amarrians (those of us that aren't hiding under a rock wrapped in aluminum foil, that is). I only hope that someone else from FW will pick up the reins and work as hard as you did.

Great work this year, Hans. I'd vote for you again.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.
