an idea to solve pvp

You guys just don't like the idea of REAL conflict, where there really are no winners, where nothing is created, where the economic impact is measured in loss, and only loss. If you were at risk of losing your Republic Fleet Warp Disruptor whether you won or lost, or if the cost of repairing your fleet's damage was more than the value of the Rifters you annihilated, you might actually do some thinking before pulling the trigger.

It really is a no-brainer. Why shouldn't you need tritanium, pyerite, mexallon, isogen, zydrine, and megacyte to repair damage done to an object that was constructed of those materials? Why should you be able to completely repair an object in a split-second that it took 3 hours to build? And, why would an industrialist player even consider PVPing you if he couldn't inflict any real loss on you except by total victory, when we all know your combat skills are so much better than his?

It may be a radical idea, but that doesn't make it a bad one.

It all boils down to the simple hard truth that some people can't accept the fact that they LOST.

This is isn't the olympics you get no compensation for coming second... no silver medal... no patting on the back. It's a fairly simple concept that has defined life throughout time.

You WIN or you LOSE.

Everything in between was devised by people who want to make up for ineptitude.

The obvious solution is to nerf winning.

StarReign, your KB is all old losses. So this is not your current main I guess. Looking at your old KM’s though I find myself wondering why you stay in null. Why not go find some quiet backwater highsec system, focus on industry or missions if PvP combat is not your thing. I ask not to ridicule your choice, but because I’m curious.

Here https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=195821 is an idea about giving industrial minded players some more options for interaction. There are a lot of good ideas over on features, they don’t get as much play as posts here, but they get a lot more attention from the Devs. Maybe wander over there and find something to tack your idea’s onto or start your own thread.

Do you need help avoiding PvP? Or do you seek it out and just can’t seem to win?

OP, I have paid for winning my fights. In the time it took to learn how to find and win them. You should do the same.

Btw, for those not bothering to check.

Their corp seems to be based in Kino, around 15 jumps from Jita.
It's not a big corp and they don't seem to have any ways of defending themselves.

I bet his CEO will be soooo proud about his member ............

because im neither a carebear nor am i a hardcore pvper.I love to make tons of isk but i also want a taste of the Hardcoreness in eve every now and then.

Many people say that tackling is the first step into PvP. I think it is actually evasion. There are many fights in Eve that cannot be won, that is equally true for "elite" pvp'rs. Its not that they figure out a way to win every fight, they just evade those that they can't win.

Move to lowsec, learn evasion, and in doing so you will begin to understand the fights that you can win and those you can't. Then tool up for those that you can or want to win and go to places where they might happen. Finding good fights in Eve is as much a part of the challenge as being able to win them imho

You should have stuck to the "this is an unplayed alt" story. Now the sharks smell blood in the water, they will look a little more closely.

Didnt read anyone elses post, but;

I use ammo, it gets expensive
I use drones, they can get expensive
I use Navy Cap boosters, and they get expensive.

Also, relating EVE to RTS?
