My feeling too. Ive seen dozens of the faction rat spawns. Normally you get faction small ammo and maybe a tag. Once in awhile you get something better. The 600 mil item I found is sort of the far end of the normal curve. Also as its been this way for a long time CCP certainly knows about it, so its working as intended.

For some reason my sister (yes my RL sister) loves ratting and has found close to a dozen implants from high sec rats, the best being 100 mil.


I found a Slave Delta implant along with 4 True Sansha mods in the Sansha Supervisor in Worlds Collide. I won the loot tables and will likely never see a drop like that ever again.

When I was still new and had just reached level 4 missions for Sanshas

Rolled Blockade
Finished it went back and rolled it again without bothering to check//unload drops.
Finished the second one looted everything and finally checked when I was docked....

Had two CONCORD modified cloaking devices in my hold......

Less than 2 weeks into the game in Essence. was shooting rats in belts thinking i was making money... Roll

i looted a wreck. back then i had no idea about shadow serpentis. damn thing dropped a LG Snake Delta. i told my more experienced corpies and they freaked Big smile

This was from my second belt rating ever Lol

I was close to broke, had a few minutes to scope some lowsec belts, d-scan said Medium Commander Wreck, narrow it down, warp to belt....

..wait for it....

Just before downtime, found the wreck of a jumpfrieghter.
It was full of ships.
I was flying an assualt frigate.

That doll you have to retrieve in the Epic-Arc.
Why would a pirate steal a mere doll and take nothing more?

If it was possible that NPCs dropped crates of cookies, icecream and other sweets. Would make hunting them down even sweeter. :)

There are a whole set of heads in jars in the Minimatar COSMOS in Ani cluster.

I have a substantial head-in-a-jar collection. There are many to be had... Pirate

Not my best drop, but one notable drop was when someone had ganked an Industrial and been shot apart by the gate guns. I just happened to be passing by in a Blockade Runner, checked the wreck, saw it was full of stuff I recognized only to be "T2 manufacturing stuff", looted the wreck and ran like hell.

Several days passed until I bothered to check it out further, and most of it was this black stuff called "Ferrogel". I didn't pay it any heed until I suddenly realized that the whole stack was worth 300 mil.

Sat on it for a year before I sold it, the price had doubled by then.

Not exactly a loot drop, but shortly after CCP gave everyone those Apotheosis shuttles 5 years ago, I started finding them abandoned all over the place. Naturally I grabbed every single one I could.

I recently got a implant drop from a faction rat in a belt (ive had a couple of low grade ones in the past) got very excited when i saw the estimated value of 1.2bil ...


Until i realised it was only actually 12 mil, i had already mentally spent that billion!

Killed a True Sansha rat in a .7 belt that dropped a Slave implant worth 450M. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen.
