He was telling you that, if you want NPCs with less EHP, you're free to fly Level 1 and Level 2 missions. You will encounter NPCs with very little EHP.

I am not just talking about missions though. Read the post it says "NPCs".

Yep, let's make the main EvE ISK fountain even more profitable.

Oh, nerf the bounties/payouts accordingly you say...? Why don't you just blitz low level missions or find easy low bounty rats so no complicated and unnecessary adjustments to the game are required.

Again I am not talking about missions I am talking about all NPCs. They have too many EHPs.

If you want NPCs with less EHP, rat in Lower class anoms/Plex in lower class Plexes/rat in Higher sec band belts/Incursion in lower end incursion systems/kill sleepers in lower class WHs.

There, I think I covered everything.

And you still haven't bothered answering why you want NPC EHP lowered.

Not really. I was asked what would be a benefit of less EHP. I gave a possible one to many players. Besides I think you have a unhealthy concern about players who engage in PVE. I would expect that possible benefit would pique your interest because you like PVP.... Don't you?

BTW this is not a debate about rat difficulty or "isk grining", just a statement with data about how NPCs have way too many EHP.

Because I feel from reading the link that I posted that NPCs have too many EHPs. I'm sure if you did the calculation on NPC EHP instead of speculating my motives, you might agree with me that NPCs have oo many EHPs. Or maybe not, you are free to chime in with your opinion.

"Why" = "To what purpose" in this context.

NPCs could have any number for their amount of EHP and it wouldn't matter. What matters is the relationship that those numbers have with other numbers in the game.

To what purpose do you want NPC EHP lowered? Do you feel that they take too long to kill for their value? If so, why do you think that? How do you think the game would benefit from lowering NPC EHP?

Saying "NPC EHP should be lowered because NPC EHP is to high" is roughly the definition of circular reasoning.

I agree. Nerf their armor and shield HPs. And let loose the AI. Make them OPPONENTS, and not just targets to shoot at.

Just remove npc's entirely and put a "add isk to wallet" button on the UI. It would add 1 isk to your wallet every time you pressed the button, except on critical strikes, which would put 10 isk in, instead.

This should prove equally mind-numbing as the current grinds to make isk. Big smile

Without taking pilot's skill into account it is clear that NPCs have more tank than needed a 15-20% reduction in NPC EHP is not asking too much really.

And what is that? So far you haven't really given an actual reason as to why NPC tank should be nerfed apart from "They have too much" without indicating too much for what and "So people can do it faster". So basically you're complaining that NPC's are too hard and you want them to be easier.

NPC's seem tough, but then you add SP and hopefully get better. Then they seem easy, that is until they get harder. But then you add SP, and hopefully get better....
