God, why don't all you Incarna and WiS nay sayers just give it a rest. Incarna and WiS isn't gone and will be fully implemented and integrated with Eve Online in the future.

Learn to live with it and stfu.

Better yet, the character selection screen has a bio vat in it, use it and take this thread with you.

Let me just underline the part that I think you missed.

Hilmar Pétursson: We're releasing the racial variants of the Captain's Quarters this year and that's mainly because we had that work completed. It also includes some optimisations and other fixes. I think the community has spoken loud and clear that they want more classical Eve features to come out, and that's the priority for us. Incarna is there, and we might pick it up at some point later down the line, but the voice of the community is quite clear. People want more spaceships, and more flying in space features. Who is to say that this refocus isn't just this 'winter' expansion. They might feel that they have some interesting WiS stuff they'd like to add next year.

To be fair, CQ still has a lot of potential. If CCP manage to scrape together the resources they could enhance that holoscreen to the point where it supports live streaming flash/html5 video to it. They could then feed it via their YouTube channel. Streaming in commercials for revenue would be an option aswell... although that would probably spawn another round of nerdrage.

Key word here is "might" and beyond that can we please stop creating thread after thread on this topic? Maybe they'll pick it up again, and maybe they won't. But it's not even worth speculating on until a bit down the line after things have settled.
