Lets be honest real people don't mine. True builders buy their minerals. Also Isogen? Seriously? Could've picked a better mineral to embargo.

This is a stupid plan. No organized group has the resources to enforce the embargo game-wide, and besides you can get isogen from reprocessing mission loot. People who enjoy mining would be paying a sub to NOT enjoy their playstyle of choice (however questionable their taste)... what, for the sake of winning The Apostle's political argument?

Sure they do. just get a decent sized corp together, buy the following:

Gallente POS, some small and medium POS guns (not many)
- Get a corp hangar, a small, medium, large and a drone assembly array
- Get everyone into decent Amarr ships, or any ship with nice DPS
- Get a carrier or 2
- Get access to a JF
- Get all of that out to a Drone system and deploy
- Set up an I-hub, upgrade to pirate detection array 5 for the maximum number of hordes
- rat
- Rat some more
- Rat until you have a freighter load of drone compounds
- jump it to high sec
- Sell or give to an alt-corp to turn into glass cannons to kill gankers with, should be able to build a hundred cruisers or so, easily. From just 1 load.
- Repeat every week or 2.
- Win at EVE

Lol. True builders BUY << from someone that either mined, looted or salvaged.

And Isogen, why not? Many have scoffed but no-one has said what else. I literally went eenie, meanie minie mo.....

What would YOU have chosen?

I can change. I can. Campaign hasn't started yet.

EDIT: I went looking and found Isogen is found in only 2 highsec rocks. That should make it easier to hunt down the miners who want to break the embargo.

imho, this is one of the reasons why indy ganking is so accepted as "normal" behaviour - it's because it's thought ONLY bots mine.

This is so FAR from the truth it's not funny.

If actual people are mining they should be blown up for their own good. Mining is dumb.

Tbh my original comment was really just a jest. However Indy ganking is accepted because its easy and people find it funny.

Now onto your slight problem

Do you know what would happen if miners stopped mining rocks?
TBH about nothing major almost.
As one to put it, the worst problem with miners that they're competing against those who mine with thier guns.

I don't understand why people couldn't just go into a post apocolptic mode for a month or two and play the game in an entirely different way.. wouldn't that be exciting as heck to have ablsolutely everything turned askew until new solutions were sorted out... perhaps broad player coalitions creating safe pockets etc.

Cool man go mine for the next couple of months. It could be exciting as heck. Right????

90% of of the time my posts are about something I actually find interesting and want to learn more about. Do not be alarmed.

That's not nice. I'm sure people mine for other reasons than being mentally ill.

I doubt that.

Although I was actually talking about Apostle. I'm always amazed that people as demented as him can even operate a computer and the frequency that people like that occur in EVE is even more amazing. I remember getting evemails from my spy in a corp I decced in which some lunatic completely spazzed out and declared that my corp is a front for TEST or something. Where do all these lunatics come from?

That's not the only time my war targets have declared that we're the front for some nullsec folks either, it happens constantly.

There seem to be three major flavours of crazy in EVE, paranoid spaceship conspiracy theorists, people who declare themselves to the the king of space as appointed by god and who must be obeyed for some reason and the intenet messiahs blessed with divine knowledge that will deliver the space jews to the promised land.

There's a fourth category too.

That's an interesting sentiment comming from someone who constantly posts entierly made up nonsense whilst trying to come across as some sort of EVE mega-genuis who is the one who has all the real answers despite the fact that you clearly don't have a clue about anything you're talking about.

YEAH you silly HIGH SEC MINERS stop TEH MINING and CHOKE THE MARKET.

YEAH NO WAY THIS CAN GO WRONG...

unless....

unless the BIGGEST CAREBEARS IN EVE the ones in DULLSEC happen to KEEP ON MINING everything including ICE IN ALL IT'S GLORY.

even worse if they have HUNDREDS OF BOTS ON THE GO.

HAS THIS REALLY BEEN THOUGHT THROUGH?!?

So why are you so vehemently trying to prove I am mad and this is all baseless nonsense?

If it's true, so be it.

If it's false, what of it?

I just went for a spin into 5 Gallente ice fields. No-one was mining. Do concerted campaigns work? Yep.

Can this work? I have no idea. But if it doesn't, with the work I am putting in to get the message out, then no miner has the right to complain ever again when told it's a "game mechanic" and "a sandbox".

So It'll prove that 1) miners are selfish and should be wasted or 2) things will be forced to change.

The timing is valid because G**ns are already putting pressure on the T2 market and production. If we can combine T1 production in the mix, where could this end?
