Hello fellow Pirates and scumbags!
Short story for you about thing that made my day.

Yesterday 35 man Pandemic Legion capital fleet jumped into my home system - Hrondedir. They brought 5 Titans Avatars and Erberuses rest of them were in Nyxes and regular CAP ships.

After short invastigation it was clear they are going to kill POSes in system. Nothing I would care cuz as a Pirate I own only my trusty assault ships.
But as an Avatar Titan class ship isnt a thing you will see every day, so I decided to look closer at it. Me and my 1400mm T2 fitted Tornado.
I even managed to shoot bout 2 volleys on Avatar but I had to GTFO quickly cuz huge cloud of Fighter class drones were coming my way.
Anyways, I landed back on station but for some strange reason still not clear to me I didnt docked and I was just waiting to Fighters come to me.

They did.

On the next day shortly after login I noticed a cyno litted in deep space. 2 PL guys on local and some neutrals.
I decided to invastigate.

When I landed on cyno with my old trusty Zerg - Vagabond Heavy Assault Ship ( 20km away ) I noticed Rorqual slowboating back to POS forcefield. He was still more than 25km away from POS.
From that point events went fast.
Lock cyno - kill to not let others come, lock Rorqual, point, shoot the fu*ker Bump, call for backup and pray to Pirate Gods he dont have cyno fitted.

He had but fortunatly no Liquid Ozone HAHAAHAHAAA.

Most funny thing is Rorq was definitly bait fitted, but without Liquid Ozone it wasn't able to lit cyno to let blob come Big smile

Awesome job!

As for not being able to dock up at the station, you were still under the effects of the combat timer : / I believe it prevents you from being able to dock up or jump system for 60 secs. Also, a little lag can delay the command especially if their attacks (and your death, though not yet registered on screen) take priority.

I have a lover, her name is EVE. I see her every night and all she asks in return is that I have a pilot's license.

Nice catch...

The reason you couldn't dock is because of shot the titan...

When you perform and aggressive action, you gained a 60s weapons timer that prevents you from docking, jumping, or ejecting... and it took you much less than 60 seconds to warp to the station..

Real reason I didn't docked wasn't the timer, it was that I wanted to pop a few Fighter drones with my arty Nado...
Perfectly doable against 10 drones and fast nado but not against 100. Oops

Now as a carebear I have little in the way of PVP politics but won't that buy you a whole lot of trouble from PL and friends?

Guess that's probably what you are looking to do for more PVP in guess but wow what a loss.

There is very little ways they can hurt me, except for cyno bait or heavly camped gate with hundreds of drones to decloak.
Our intel works well :)
