No. Absolutely not, Jove space is for the devs to test stuff in without player interference, this goes for all servers.

What are you testing on the test server that requires you to go to Jove space? How is that testing going to improve things on Tranquility?

There are ways into Jove space, but pretty much impossible to access without a developers help.

I believe it has been done a couple times but no idea how, probably fleeted with a developer. I did hear once of a player killing and looting a Developer that was flying a Jove ship. I believe they were punished for it though.

pretty much the only way to get into Jove space is via a Cyno activated by a dev already in there. Not much chance of that happening, even if you are good friends with them in real life.

Would be sweet though if there was hidden stargates leading to Jove Space, that a really lucky player could happen upon. Gates in deep space that can not be scanned down unless you catch a Jove/Dev ship at it while you are scanning. Or a chance of wormholes linking to Jove space.

According to the lore the Jove move freely back and fourth, but are very secretive about it. There are even supposed to be hidden Jove stations in empire space. Expanding on this lore, and opening up limited access or chance of access to this space is something they may look at in the future. But currently it is developer/CCP only space.

Why do they need Developer only space in TQ when they have several internal, private test servers? Well some things they need to test do not work the same on the limited hardware of the test servers, and run differently on TQ. Why do Developers get to cruise around in super cool Jove ships? Well that is just a perc of being an EVE player, and working for CCP at the same time.

Would be cool though if there was some way of earning the trust of the Jove through say the "Society of conscious thought" the only Jove related entity EVE players can interact with. How did they get into K-space? Do they ever go back? Can they send you there?

So there are inaccessible testing systems on TQ, the Developers use that do not show on the star map??

Can you fly a Jove ship out we can shoot at it??

Or what about a live event with developers playing the Jove??

P.S. will there be a test alliance set up on SiSi this mirror? I really want to test and learn some sov stuff before diving into it on TQ. Don't have the isk on SiSi to set up my own alliance, or I would.

I think it was last Mass Test, where CCP FoxFour was in a Jove BS and we had to shoot him.

Fun fact: In the early days of EvE there was a bug that allowed certain players to set thier clone home to Jove space, and thus got it.

Needless to say the Joves quickly showed them the door and kicked them back to empire...

Jove space is what the drone regions used to be. Drone regions used to be sealed off, anyway jove space isn't the same as the developer systems which occupy an extra constellation on the map.
