Gnosis isn't really that OP, despite what some of you think. As an example, 5x heavy pulse with scorch, point, web, mwd, LSE II, 2x invulns, 3x heat sink, 2x DDA II, damage control II and 3x CDFE along with a flight of hammerheads gives it 670 DPS to 22.5km optimal (which isn't that outrageous for a battlecruiser) but only about 45k EHP (if my math is right). You could go with blasters for a higher damage of course, but shorter range, which might be inadvisable...despite the low mass, it's surprisingly slow.

Looking baller as heck is obviously a nice perk but doesn't help you in combat. ;)

Don't burst the poor man's bubble....

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

I would've noticed them previously as it's a main category designation under Trade Goods, and I've not heard discussion about it before, BUT whatever. They aren't on TQ for sure.

lol ^^ I didn't burst.

The newbie frigate with a 30% web bonus would quickly become favored as a tackler if its other stats are reasonable and it became widely available.

No idea if there are plans for that, but it's undoubtedly the best of the set.

Sure they are. Trade Goods > Aurum Tokens.

58m/33m in Jita for the 1000 Aur Tokens at the moment.

Well, how about that.

I thought this was something that certain players would have made screaming hissy fits about and I heard nothing.

Oh well, learn something new every day.

Why would anyone care that CCP gave out free Aurum as one of the options for the Christmas gift?

Go bother someone else. All you ever do is ask idiotic questions and/or b**ch about literally everything. It's astounding.

This was a thread about ships and other things found on Sisi and YOU are the one making it personal. What a freakin' ego. I find it creepy that you find me so magnetically fascinating. Wanna go on a date ?

You complain about his ego, but fail to see your own.
Seriously, he posted quite normal, but you now behave like a sissy as if he touched you or something.

Your ego is far more bloated than his and the Aurum stuff above just proved it.

Try understanding that there are times when you simply do not know better.

Thanks. Now stop being annoying.

(inb4 him being even more annoying now, because his bloated ego can't handle it)

Wrong.

He has baited me before many many times in the past, and this was going straight there. There are reasons why he was banned for a while there.

But it takes always two for this.
The guy who baits the fish and the fish that can't resist to bite.

If you were the more mature person, you would have simply blocked him ... but instead, you BLAME him.
You BLAME him for biting to his bait ... does that make sense ? No !

At the risk of feeding the rumor mill to much... word on my streets is that CCP is going to expand FW to pirate factions, and that player w/ accounts 2 years old will be able to create pirate toons that in turn get these pirate rookie ships. They said they were going to do that from the start with FW... and to me this looks like what's happening here with the rookie ships.

I have been betting the Genosis would be involved with the 10th anniversary for years though. It just kind of follows. They turned the SoCT 1 frigate into the Apotheosis for the 5th... so SoCT Cruiser for the 10th... right?

Signatures should be used responsibly...

Why do people feel they have a right to crash an otherwise pleasant thread where I even admitted to being wrong ?

The need to bait like that is just flat out disturbed ego, nothing more or less, and we could do with less of the bait attitude on these forums period.

Reasons which have nothing to do with you. Or this imaginary feud you seem to think we're having.

Seriously, I don't "find you magnetically fascinating." You post on GD a lot. I post on GD a lot. Of course we're going to post in the same threads a lot. The fact that you make easily rebuttable claims means that rebutting your claims is easy (tautology is tautology), so I tend to do so, especially since you tend to double down on your claims when they're challenged, regardless of their soundness.

They all look pretty baller, and I think the idea of a limited (but wide) issue of a competent fighting ship is an interesting choice from a market perspective.

Will it behave like the Genolution Implants where people fly and die in them regularly, or like the primae which sits in hangars doing nothing?
