Battleship Rebalancing - Include a Black Amarr BS with Shortrange Missiles(Torpedoes)

Hi Folks,


On my second account I used to roleplay as a born Minmatar Slave, who was able by luck to apply in the Khanid Navy

Thus playing and flying mosly in Khanid designed ships (black and beautyful). Only using Missile-Skills.

A long time I flew a Vengeance with rocket launcher and a heavy armor tank.


What I'm missing is a Battleship design of the same kind: Black in color using an armor tank. and shooting
Caldari Style with short range missiles so that pure Khanid pilot have the possibility to fly their shipstyle.


Just a thought, and perhaps it was already mentioned but i would love to see such a ship even if it is used as BlackOps
as most Khanid designs are Tech 2 Ships.

Well, personally I'd like a bright pink drake, like the old phobos pink, that shoots Lazors and armor tanks. I'd also like flowers painted on the turrets, because I used to role play a psycho ex-caldari Mass trader turned violent Gallente girl power hippie, and would really like a ship tailored only to me that makes no sense whatsoever.

I know there was a hello kitty kestrel I've seen pics, and they looked legit. so pony up.


Hahahahaha, Just kidding on all accounts. RP should stick to pretend and not try to gum up the works by inventing specialized one offs that make no sense whatsoever. Specialized ships are usually won in tournaments, frequently to be kept as trophy pieces because who wouldn't wawnt a 10 billion isk frigate HULL on their killboard. When you lost that ship, you would have made some capsuleers griefing worth it.

Get some Eve. Make it yours.

A T2 khanid battleship has been asked for a lot, using the Abbadon model.

A lot of us want it.

The Amarr battleship line is a bit limited... lasers, lasers and lasers, oh my...

Admittedly, everything associated with Amarr and battleship is energy turret.

The biggest khanid boat is the Damnation, which is probably something you know about.

Of the three tech 1 and two tech 2 BS's available, at least one should be khanid.
(Not even the navy or pirate offerings relating to Amarr use missiles like the khanid themed ships)

Khanid ships aren't one offs or tournament ships...

As a Khanid pilot I support this. Even if there is little chance of this going to happen.

Remove standings and insurance.

Allthough I can understand that CCP wants to give us some special edition ships with new artwork and sometimes also in some ways stronger, I really hate these special lines cause nobody is flying them. F.E. who would fly a CSR, or a Guardian Vexor. Maybe they should be added to the LP-Shop, limited to only one corp and with really high prices.

But I think because of the sameness of the Amarr BS, I guess CCP will add a disruption BS as a drone carrier/tracking disruptor to the game equal to the Arbitrator and Dragoon just bigger. So I think it will take a while until we get a Khanid BS.

As they spoke about changing the Typhoon into a Torpedoboat. during the overhaul.

It could be that they change one Tech2 BS into a Khanid design.
They are overhauling the Battleshipdesigns so there will be a small chance of getting a Khanid Tech2 Battleship.

I'm just looking for supporters

So I vote pro Khanid assuming they change the Black-OPs ship

THIS makes sense.

Optionally, make it a Navy edition. Making all the BS stick to only one side when the previous smaller ship options included some version like this seems negligent.

Khanid battleship is more than needed in the Amarr BS lineup. Even making the Navy Apoc fit into this format would be preferable... given it already has the sleek black look Khanid ships tend to have. This is coming from someone who pretty much exclusively flies amarr ships and has been a long time fan of the mission Napoc. We have 3 battleships that do the same thing, laser and tank. Sure they can be applied in different roles, but at the end of the day that is it. Every other race has specialized designs, it would be great for us to have some as well.

I just want an abadon hull with the black/silver colour scheme. Dont care what it does. Just want it.
