i once bought all "bane" torpedos of the whole region to be able to fulfill profitable looking a sell order. I still have them.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I haven't fallen victim to a real scam, but once I scammed myself by buying mechanic parts instead of mechanical parts for a chain of POS I was setting up.

Shocked

I was so annoyed with myself I just dumped them back to buys and bought the real stuff.

I accidentally paid 3mil a unit for a few hundred veldspar a while ago, but that was more typing into the wrong boxes and ignoring the warning.

Never actually been scammed, per se. I'm very good at spotting them.

I remember reading the description on a bunch of mines when I was a nooblet and thinking how much fun they would be to drop around a gate used by courier mission bots. I bought a pile to discover that they no longer worked in game. I kept them for awhile then passed them on with love to another nooblet as "rare" items.....

How was it? It was terrible! Evil

I went to Jita to get the last missing science skills, went through my skill sheet and bought each of the missing ones. A few days later did I notice a loss of 5b ISKs and it was because I had bought Astronautics Engineering. After a long search of what this expensive skill does did I realize that it was an obsolete skill, and players had been tossing it around like stinking turds to a spiralling price of 5b ISKs.

I petitioned it and demanded a replacement skill. CCP let me choose a new skill and later did they change the description of Astronautics Engineering to show its uselessness. Someone else got rid of an ill e-peen skillbook and with 5b ISKs more in his wallet.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

had to move a mission item for a storyline, didn't fit on my ship so i bought an industrial in a hurry... most expensive iteron III in history at 100m...

still i don't really think i got scammed, i was just careless and dint really pay attention... i mean i expected a sign to pop up since usually they sell for 50% - 100% over what they sell on local hubs, so i spam clicked without even looking... never expected a 10000% :o

and yes... i must confess that the first thing i did was to add the seller to my blocked list. Straight
