Hello mates, i am about to buy a new 15' rmbp

can Eve online run on native resolution and high settings (no need for AA ofc) ?
will it have enought fps to be playable for solo gameplay such as mission running?
on the other scaled resolutions, is the blurryness caused by the res vissible?

the laptop itself is good but really expensive, eve online is the only game i play nearly every day, so if you could give me your feedback i would really appriciate it.

Thanks :)

Got mine the other day. Haven't done more than half a mission, but so far it seem to be running everything on high at both 1920 and the native resolution (no AA).

By the end of the weekend I might have some more details for you.

Spec: 2.6 Ghz, 16 mb

I've changed my configuration a couple of times over the last days but I've now settled for something which I think works quite well.

- Window mode @1440x856
- Shader, Texture and LOD is set to high
- All effects are enabled
- Everything else is disabled or at low. Because I can't see any difference with it on or at high.

I'm able to run that on 3 active clients @30-60 fps. Occasionally the fps can drop to ~25 but that hasn't really bothered me. I haven't noticed any blurriness at all.

What I have had problems with is that the game freezes when running multiple clients. But that went away once I started using Eve Clone Maker.

Also the fans rev-up and can be pretty laud with all clients running. I don't find the reported heating issue to be that bad. From what I have seen CPU/GPU is @65-70 C.
