Careful there.
Next he's gonna want to know what "acceptable" means.

Well, we could go on for a while then Twisted

Thx

CCP use this language because words have specific meanings as well as hints toward the nature of the specified word.
As well as this, CCP are not talking to their mates over voicecomms; they are communicating clear and distinct messages to their customer base, and therefore must be highly accurate.

"Hang around" translated means the same thing in every language.

You are just having a bad day. Or had a bad education period.

No, not really. Its kinda clear now, loiterring means hanging around. But my point is that its took me some effort to find it out. Therefor its nice for ccp to use shiny words but whats the point in this communication if the message does not arrive properly? I can conclude its only for show and shiny puposes only.... To respond on the other guy.. the message does not arrive at its customer base and thats to whom you are talking to...

I wonder how many people dont even bother finding it out or taking the effor to google and find it out.

Don't just google it, wiktionary or wikipedia it. Or even thefreedictionary it.
It's usually easier and clearer that way.

Loitering is incredibly common English, which is why it was chosen. There IS no other word. It is NOT "shiny" by any means.

Any translator that cannot handle it should stop being used by you.

Edit: Also by implication from your own posting above if they had said "no hanging around in Incursion Sites" you would have wondered the same and complained about "hanging around".

List of synonyms for "Loitering". Would you prefer one of THESE ?

Synonyms: amble, dabble, dally, dawdle, delay, diddle, drag, flag, fritter away, get no place fast, halt, hover, idle, lag, linger, loaf, loll, lounge, pass time, pause, poke, procrastinate, put off, ramble, saunter, shamble, shuffle, slacken, slough, tarry, trail, traipse, wait, waste time

Thank God they did not chose "dawdle".

Who says it involves being AFK ? YOU do.

Maybe you should invent your own language.

Someone need a pod pilot to go AFK?

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

According to google translate, there or 4 or 5 different ways to say loiter, while just the one english word conveys it to everyone that knows english, or can operate on the internet while playing an internet game.

Btw, no where did it say FW plexes.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
