CCP uses difficult words that i cant find in my standard dictionary. Basicly they are assuming that everyone understands that word. So basicly they are rasism versus anyone non native engish.

So why should i look it up?

Is this really what EVE GD has come to? Whining quasi-political statements about some imagined injustice, with petulant replies to otherwise sensible questions posed by baffled forum users?

Honestly wondering how low a percentage of posts in GD are actually *worth* reading nowadays.

Also, IB4TL.

No troll, im serious. Im just special. Its in the eve information thingy. Are exploiting messages not important enough that they should not be understandable by every eve player without using google?. CCP wants me something to not do, should i also figur out what that is trough google because ccp assumes everyone knows complicated-for-non-native-english-speakers words?

Considering they've used english for every single communication theyve ever made I think its something you will just have to deal with.

Since nobody else has asked, then I will. What is your first language then? Also since you can't be bothered to look it up then this might help you understand.

Im French as native langish, im very ashamed of that. But i looked it up with many difficulties. I dont understand why not ccp uses the word "to AFK in fw plexes" its much easyer to understand and its common used in the eve languish among players.

If i talk to a freind and i say that i have a neut loitttering in my system, he is going like "Whhhaaat?"... THan i repeat again and he still not understands. If i simply say that i have a neut afk'ing he insta understands.....

Soo much effort while it all could be much much easier by simply using "eve languish"

Loitering means to hang around non-productively.

I'm out of here...................

CCP use this language because words have specific meanings as well as hints toward the nature of the specified word.
As well as this, CCP are not talking to their mates over voicecomms; they are communicating clear and distinct messages to their customer base, and therefore must be highly accurate.

Interesting thought, did you know that translaters do not translate the "specific meaning and hints". They tend to translate it one-on-one which maeks the "special meaning and hints" go lost or need to be guessed. Its just unclear. Google sais to me it means "hang around". But what you mean as special meaning could be the "non productive" part. So i could hang around but not hang around doing nothing productive right? What if i hang around while fixing my overview, is that productive?

"Hang around" itself implies being non-productive. Like hanging around in front of a store.

Now STOP.

Loitering = remaining in a particular (public) place for a longer time than would be considered (generally) acceptable.

It's a word with fuzzy meaning and somewhat open to interpretation as far as when it's applicable.

I do not agree with that "Hang around" itself implies being non-productive. Thats just how you interpertate the word "hang around". The interpertation could be different for non native engish speakers. Thats what im trying to tell here... Question for you, is the meaning of "hanging around" the same as AFK'ing or Loiterring?

Careful there.

Next he's gonna want to know what "acceptable" means.

"Hang around" translated means the same thing in every language.

You are just having a bad day. Or had a bad education period.
