EVE used to be a much better place when they were called whinematar...

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

yes. but also consider training minmatar bs and getting a vindi and then training large projectiles and getting a machariel. when you fly machariel you win at internet spaceships.

Vindi on one account, NM on the other. If anything enters the 100km radius, it melts :)

Hear that everyone?

Apparently two high DPS pirate battleships out-damage one high DPS pirate battleship. Thank you for this informative post. :P

OP, navy mega is fine, put them sweet sweet turrets on it, just don't blow a million stored skillpoints just to get the spec skill to 5. That would be dumb. I would also stick with rails because blasters have issues in missions with range, unless you fit tracking enhancers.

Bad damage? 2-4000 a volley seems alright to me. And that is just with t1 antimatter. I don't even bother with t2 ammo or faction because it's fast enough for me already.

..... not using faction/t2 ammo on the ship that gets -50% ammo cost.....

Honestly, if you're going to fit an MJD and snipe with a navy megathron you might as well consider fitting sentry drones.

Honestly, with only 45k.6k optimal and a paltry 12km falloff I don't really like Garde for this situation, but it's a case of not quite enough range versus more range than you can control with wardens. You really shouldn't need much more than a three slot tank for range tanking either. For that matter if you drop the omni links (and use wardens) you can just shield tank the ship and do fine.

It's actually pretty comparable to the first build, though by not using omni links and garde your close-in sentry-based "defense" is going to be mighty weak. The increased effectiveness in long-range combat should make up for that, however.

Projectlies arent that good, hybrids are way better. The machariel is a very very good ship tho.
