So here's a story for those not afraid of big walls of text.

Rajetit Blammo decided it was a bright idea to steal a corp Noctis and jump corp. Mind you, he stole the Noctis not from corp but from future new members who could have used it to make ISK until they can afford their own.
Anyway, the CEO of his new corp was not only aware of the theft, but congratulated him and was telling everyone in corp about how great Rajetit's actions were. Rajetit was bragging about it his masterful accomplishment in corp chat... lol. Anyway, I know all this from chat logs provided to me by their x-member, ********, who actually informed me of the theft before I even realized. I of course confirmed it with loot and container logs.
Well it turns out that ******** does not take kindly to corp thieves or CEO's who welcome them with open arms, so he performed a little heist of his own. He cleared out the corps BPOs, wallet, and manufacturing materials. Then contracted the amount lost by the corp to me. Justice was done so please thank ******** if you get a chance, he's truly a fella with a sense of right and wrong.

Anyway, after I was told about this, before the counter-theft was committed, I wanted to see if I can resolve the issue peacefully. Below follow are the chat logs, first with Rajetit, followed by with his CEO. You be the judge whether or not robbing them back was the right thing to do. I convoed each one, pretending I knew nothing about the theft or the CEO's attitude about it.

Thief > well, as a noob, i don't see much of a difference between corps, so it doesnt really matter to me
Me > I dont need the Noctis, nobody from anyone who's been salvaging for more than a few days needs it, I'm asking you for the sake of new players

Me > because having a corp Noctis for them to use makes it 100x easier for them
Me > rather than using destroyer to salvage
Thief > well, they can ninja salvage for 2-3 days and buy one themselves if they really want one

Me > why steal the Noctis?

[05:08:08] Thief's CEO > surprisingly low O.o hmm well thats unfortunate. Yeah no I never give newbiew corp access. he said he had salvager skills do I gave him dreposit-only access to the salvage hangar.

Whats really funny is how a crappy corp thief made his new CEO look bad at the same time. Corp thief CEO yeah I completely support fail pirates hell thats what our corp is made of too funny.

Congrats on robbing another corporation after yours got robbed. Personally I don't follow your logic about how this guy's new corp is supposed to be responsible for him having stolen your Noctis before he even joined them. If you robbed them of their BPOs, be honest and admit that you yourself are a straight up corp thief, and no better or worse than the guy who robbed you - there was no justice in it, as you were not punishing the individual who wronged you at all.

Nevertheless, congrats in pulling off a heist of your own. May it give you some perspective on the game.P
