Just returned after a couple years... why were the effects for the strip miner changed? Maybe I am imagining it but I swear they used to have much more flavor.

Really, after a couple of years, the only change you care about is the look of the strip miners? I guess miners really do live under a rock.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

All the turret effects were redone.

Nothing else bothers me, everything seems improved except for this. I mean really its just a standard laser beam now.

Tracking issues. Living under a rock means very close range, and that's what you get.
