I've noticed that my mobo is getting much warmer since the last patch. Was anything changed that might account for this? I haven't changed my graphics settings at all and my temps went from 160F average to a whopping 190F.

The GPU temps stayed the same and there was a slight increase in CPU temps. Running a resource monitor I don't see any noticeable increase in processing load. Thoughts?

(I play on a laptop and understand there is transferred thermal load from the cpu and gpu to the mobo.)

And now I see the DEV sticky above on this issue. What?

Apart from turning down your graphics settings I would also check to make sure that your Interval setting under the graphics settings did not get changed. It should be set at Interval One, that will limit the FPS to your monitors refresh rate.

I'd also clean out your heatsink with compressed air if you have not done so allready.
