Didn't you just sum up the Game EVE? That 1 sentence is essentially the game - you do what you like and we do what we like. No need for Codes or extensive justifications. If you can scam people to pay for protection then do it, it's part of the game. But it is, after all, only a protection scam. Yes I do understand Saying this is anti-code and could make me a target. If so it's ok, I mine while watching the keyboard. I also rat while watching the keyboard. I also can and do leave systems where I am harrassed. I also respond to questions. None of it matters beacuse the only code is: Pay us to leave you alone. No. Without an element of Danger this game would bore me. In fact I came back to it because all other MMO's bore me, this one at least has danger - I could lose my ship to another player. I do only fly ships that I can afford to lose. If I lose a ship it is part of the game. I wish you well as far as getting rid of Bots, but actually see no difference betwen what you say and what any protection racket thug would say - you just try to add a religious fervour to it. The entertainment value is very high, I will grant you that. In the end it is just EVE players doing what they want. Those of you who feel it necessary to pay for protection - are you sure you are playing the right game? Thanks for letting me share.

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

You speak wisely. They know they are just mercs extorting and scamming people for money and creating a rift so their contractors can get some real cash using their own bot programs and "bot-aspirant" players but they just refuse to openly admit it. Big smile

I'm happily awaiting some kind of proof for any of this.

I am neither responsible to show my work to some contractor, nor do I know anyone who RMTs or even runs bots. Please provide any kind of evidence you have and make sure to petition the players involved - botting and RMTing is a serious issue!

If you need any help filing a petition, don't hesitate to contact me.

The New Order of Highsec represents Progress, Civilization, the Rule of Law, Honorable Conduct, and Elite PvP. Where else will you find Invincible Battle Badgers killing Tech3 cruisers? Such is the Power granted to those who hold the Code close to heart.

My main has more than enough ISK.

I do this because it is both extremely important and extremely hilarious to purge those who would flout the Code in highsec with the holy fires of cleansing Antimatter.

Join the New Order, buy your permit today, and follow the code.

No ... it means we move two squares forward, and one square in a forward diagonal direction, and can jump over other pieces.

It also means we gank and bump miners who do not conform to the Code.

Join the New Order, buy your permit today, and follow the code.

I have not asked for a single penny of recompense for my expended Cats.

I'll try to get in on this... for the cause o7

Well it was again one of your fellow pawns that spoke about how generous some of you are with helping when someone asks it in your public chat rooms because they are poor, so maybe you have isk but seems not all of you do. Then again why would you be required to spend your own isk when you get so many donations from your contractors and you should be having support from your logistics corporation which states its job being providing you pawns with ships, modules and fits for your war?

But then again even those chess pieces are moved by a hand, so what you are saying basically is that all your actions are planed and executed by a hand, in your case contractors or shareholders which your fellow pawns admitted had to be satisfied. Big smile

Ah, you are mistaken, my friend. It goes: "Innocent until proven guilty" - the burden of proof is yours. I will happily provide any information you request to help you though! You can contact me via evemail if you want to!

Well you are free to pass judgement on non bot users however you see fit then why should I abide with the laws you obviously don't follow yourself?

Every non-permit-holder is guilty of violating the New Halaima Code of Conduct - We can easily prove his/her guilt by checking the bio and our holy spreadsheet. If you have seen us ganking a compliant permit-holder, feel free to contact any of the Knights, and we will fully reimburse his loss.

So even though he is not using bot programs and is following your "code" but did not buy the permit he will still be pronounced guilty and will be ganked?

Interesting way of spreading "justice" and making high sec for players that stay behind the keyboard at all times.

Yes I forgot that "code" required him to have paid the extortion money, but you already answered before I could correct my mistake. Big smile

But it is still an interesting way of spreading "justice". Big smile

If you had actually read the framework that James 315 has so kindly provided, non bot users are not exempt from the licensing requirements of the New Order, most (not all) of the people that are exploding are AFK, they're not playing the game, they're doing something else. The burden of proof is on the New Order in the case of the AFK players, and the proof is that they (the AFK) don't respond for several minutes and only do so when they come back to their PC to find themselves in a Med clone, only then does the "I have powerful friends in Null", "OMG I'm petitioning for griefing/exploiting", along with all the other meaningless threats and other foul mouthed abuse start from the people who got ganked.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

So if I am mining and you question me and I answer in a quick manner you will go your way and leave me to mine in peace? Or will you then try to extort isk from me? Cause if it is the former I approve of your war on bots, however if it is the latter, well then I will politely say no. Not much into swearing or shredding tears, so I will leave that to the others. Fly safe either way.

They'll still want your 10 million isk for a permit but if you're a good sport about it they may well leave you alone purely because you're a good sport and didn't start badmouthing etc, there are a couple of non paying rebellious miners that are well liked by the New Order, because they are good sports they are accepted as a necessary evil and even respected for their rebellious ways.

You don't need to like an enemy to respect them.
