Lol passwords like "Ñandu" or "Cigüeña" are bulletproof, how many bruteforce atacks uses the spanish or latino american words?

Now for tinfoil lvl 2, use "Ñ4ndü&C1gÜeñ4"

Every single one. Else they wouldn't be brute force.

Brute force password cracking means trying every single character there is in every possible combination.

OK, brace yourselves -- no password is safe any more, cracking at 350 BILLION hashes/sec

http://hackaday.com/2012/12/06/25-gpus-brute-force-348-billion-hashes-per-second-to-crack-your-passwords/

Also something that surprized me: battlenet is using case INSESITIVE passwords (user-friendliness over little gain in entropy).

Only important when they can get the password hashs and check them offline.

If they only have access over the net, with regular logins, then it doesn't work.

Oh, and with a 22 character, alpha numeric case sensitive password, you're talking about 128 bits of entropy. which is 3.40 × 10^38 possible options.

which, at 3.48 x 10^11 per second, ia about 1 x 10^29 seconds. or 3 x 10^21 years.

Now, sure, using dictionary words isn't as good entropy wise.

Even with only 64 bits of entropy, we're talking 86 years or so.

Woo! CSM XI!

You also have to have at least 1 capital letter now too.

If you type your password on the forums it will hash it out, my password is *********. See it won't let you use it here.

CCP reset all of EVEs passwords many years ago due to mass hacks. This was before the end of letter only passwords. So who has the CCP auto reset password still?

So oldschool your oldschool is my newschool. Or something to that effect.

you are old school if your password contains iddqd
