Bored Vet Wants To Help New Players

We've all heard of bitter vet syndrome, and although it's never been explained to me, I don't think that's what's ailing me as I'm not bitter. I'm bored. I think I suffer from bored vet syndrome. In a bid to change that and enjoy myself on Eve again, I'm looking to focus on helping new players.

I've participated in many areas of the game, from mining to missions, professional hauling to professional salvaging (Red Frog and Pro Synergy), suicide ganking to ninja salvaging, manufacturing to PvP (HS, LS, NS, WH, Cloaky), incursions to exploration, station trading to inter-regional trading, and Logi to ECM. Logging on to do my own thing just doesn't cut it for me anymore. I'm looking for a purpose.

I would like to help new players, and the best way I can think to do that is to join a group that is dedicated to doing such. Eve Uni isn't an option as they want either instructors (complete with lesson plans) or students, where as I've no interest in holding a lecture. I'd rather just take the new guys out and have them learn from experience, while hanging around to assist in anyway I can.

Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel and create my own corporation to do this, I'm hoping to join a corporation already in existence with this mission. So if that's you, or if you know of such a group, please get in touch with me. I ask for no roles, permissions, or rank - only access to new players. Either here or via in game mail is best, as I don't log on much anymore due to a lack of goal or mission.

Thanks for your time folks.

Well, I'm a veteran, but a total noobie in PvP, and I have a couple of new players in my corp ... our goal is to grow (of course), but I could use someone with more experience than me in the nullsec/PvP side of eVe ...

What is your timezone ?

If you're EU-based, come to my public channel (NYINC) ingame, and have a chat !

Eve Uni needs Mentors as well...which would maybe scratch your itch...Mentors take guys out there and just do it. also you dont have to take classes some just do pratical.

I was contacted by a new player looking for guidance, and I'm starting to get excited about logging on again. This is marvelous! Any other new folks out there can feel free to contact me as well!

Still considering corp options too.

If you looking for something exciting to do you should really consider Faction Warfare. We get loads of pew pew. Check out the link in my sig for more info. We have a very laid back corp and access to hundreds of noobies in general militia that are in desperate need of guidance.

Good luck
