Getting "Socket Closed" within 2 minutes of logging in

This happening to anyone else? I have been trying to get both my pilots docked but before I can even exit warp on top of the station I get the "Socket Closed" error. Been happening ever since the patch this morning. Does not matter how many accounts I have logged in either

this is annoyng....

this happened to me a lot of days..... you are playing normally and then.... ******* socket are closed and you have to log all chars again....

Happened to my accounts aswell, but not everyday and not on every login. Didn't bother me enough to report it.

From what I understand, socket closed errors are usually an ISP / Cable modem / DSL problem.

this is definately an isp problem. if your isp offers adsl profiles, pick a lower speed higher stability transmission profile to solve it.

as for op, i doubt its an eve problem, or more people would be screaming about it. i suspect its a line issue that by concidence occurred on the patch day.

check in with your isp, make sure you arent being routed via guatamala or something.

Happens to me every time my daughter pushes the wifi on/off button on my router. Hope this helps.Smile
