This has seriously inspired me to make t2 fit rifters and just go out and find some fights.. I've never really gotten into pvp but damn it I want to.

As a pirate myself, I too also honor ransoms. Why? Because I'm not a douche pirate. It shows I can uphold my end of the deal and not be a complete jackass about it.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

You did everything right! You didn't panic, you shot down his drones, you kept him locked down, you handled ransom correctly (I sometimes wish that I was an actual pirate rather than a marauding force of vengeance so I could do this, just for the fun of it).

Yeah I was lucky to find this guy, especially as it took me only 5 minutes to do so, but I assure you it did happen. After checking out his recent losses he seems to be a regular at this 0.4 system, guess I'll see him in a month.

Don't have the game loaded right now but the " verge vendor " comes to mind, if that's a region at all or just something my brain made up? lol.

Anyway I got blown up earlier Lol, though something wierd was happening as I couldn't seem to be able to move or lock onto the enemy, maybe I was lagging I don't know, I was right on the Sun and he killed me pretty quickly because I wasn't able to do much at all. Though I expect I would have been blown to pieces anyway as his frigate was packing all tech II's and he warped right onto me with blasters, ouch!. Then he tried to demand 100mil from me for my pod, which I kindly declined of course, as I had nothing to lose, my clone for my current skill points cost me about 70k and no implants anyway lol.

Already got another 2 Rifters fitted and ready to fly though :).

Hmm, could be Ouelletta, Murethand or Hevrice. Here is some advice, stop hunting in my backyard and neighbourhood this aera isn't really good for your health and you should switch from Rifter to Slasher.
