I didn't see this mentioned anywhere else (and not in the sitcky on setting up SiSi).

The current Test EVE Online tool is not compatible with the default security settings on OS X 10.8 (tested on 10.8.2).

You may notice this via the following message:

"The operation couldn't be complete. (OSStatus error -67049)."

The workaround is to disable the security settings in the Security Preference pane:

1) Open Security Preference pane (and sign in via the Lock icon if needed)
2) Select the "Anywhere" radio button.

Now Run the Test EVE Online app.

NOTE: This leaves your system open to any subsequent downloads, so you should probably set it back to "Mac App Store and identified developers" when you are done setting up SiSi.

Hopefully, the developer of Test EVE Online will sign the app in the near future so we don't have to do this.

Even after this workaround, the config is busted. The login screen says Singularity, but the server version says incompatible.

Anyone know how to get to SiSi from a Mac on 10.8.2?

What is the Test EVE Online app you're referring to? I'm not understanding what application you're talking about.

From context, Im guessing he means the Sisi client or the Sisi updater will not download without adjusting the 10.8 security settings, because they have not been properly signed.

Vincent is right on.

I'm referring to this sticky:

And the tool/app referred to here:

Sorry for the confusion.
