is there too much space in Eve for the number of players?

Football ( Soccer) would be a far more exciting game if the goalposts were only around 12" wider.

Reduce the space in Eve and like rats in a cage the aggression levels have got to rise!

i assume that getting more ships blown up is what the Eve economy requires.

Maybe it would be better to give people more incentive to actually move outside their comfort zone areas and play the game instead shrinking the cage. But that would require :effort:

Incentive? Constant nudging in the ribs with a stick is not a carrot.

Then there would be clear winner, rather than a 0-0 draw after extra -time.

Some have to wait next month to buy new GTC->Plex-Isk to buy new ships

Others farm with their army of alts 20h/24 at least 6/7

Some others can't log in anyway, then some can log in but freeze so much the game does not respond and can only see they're in a fresh pod at relog, again some get socket closed too.

Not easy to be a capsuleer, I want lasers on my pod and be able to launch the game from DOS console !

Considering big alliances can hop from one side of the map to the other I would say no. If anything EVE is too small. It's just that CCP have made vast areas worthless hence the reason most of the outlying systems are empty.

Not worthless... more UNDERDEVELOPED. I would rather see moar "quality" stations in low sec... or better equipment for POSs in low sec to make them on par with high sec.

I would rather think of a lore angle where there was an empire expansion Wild West style, but they lost control of the new areas dried up and became ghost towns waiting on new groups to move in and reactivate the ghost stations.

No cuts, no butts, no coconuts!

bah beat me to it.

I bet the subs would hit record lows if the universe shrank.

CCP has to be careful to cater to all, null and hi-sec'rs alike. Unless we want another SWG, shrinkage would be a bad direction.

The scope of the universe is what personally appealed to me, and why I started playing to begin with.

The scale of the Eve map is impressive I agree. Just want some of the fun back in lo -sec. Jumped into null last night through a wormhole and there was better loot to be sure - but as a solo I was as welcome as a fart in a space suit.
