Hello everyone, it's your friendly neighbourhood StevieSG,

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

I'm working with Multiplay (handling their Community Management among other wild things) on bringing you lovely gamers Insomnia: The UK's Biggest Gaming Festival. Sometimes referred to as “The Glastonbury of Gaming” Insomnia is the biggest festival of its kind in the UK. We have pro-gamers, a tech Expo hall, cash tournaments and a large mainstage. It's also the biggest LAN party in the UK, so we have people who turn up with their own PC's and game for 4 days straight!

I’m also an ex CCP Community Moderator, Video Producer and very old and tired host of EVETV. Due to my dark and mysterious history with EVE Online and its capsuleers, I've been tasked with bringing EVE Online to Insomnia! Big smile

It's a well kept secret that Insomnia Gaming Festival holds an EVE Meet every year, and we actually had lots of players turn up to our last meet all of which stayed for the entire weekend. We gave away prizes, told war stories and Multiplay's CEO (and resident EVE Fanboy) bought 'Beers For Blues' it was awesome. Pirate

The March meet is going to be the biggest yet.

Price

To attend Insomnia Gaming Festival on a day spec pass is £5. If you want to stay the whole weekend, bring your PC and play some EVE, you can find the details here. Also if you check out the seat picker you can see who you'd be surrounded by, and book your seat accordingly, so check the yellows :)

Sadly this PANDA will not be at insomnia48 but I would recommend any and all EVE players to attend the EVE Meet!! I'm sure many PANDAs will attend and hopefully we can nab a few more to join us Cool

I shall be there representing the Pandas!

For people who have not been to an I-series before I highly recommend that you make sure that you do, the prices are quite reasonable and the community atmosphere is amazing!

Would be great if we could get some sort of tournament going this time there was one run by some uni students at I45 i think which was really good fun.

I think I'm going to be there for this. Do the Eve people have a specific spot for the BYOC or do you just all sit in with the MMO crowd?
