Gonna post here as it deals with all the user videos...still probably gonna get yelled at.

So these videos everyone post...

90% are not watchable on apple iProducts (for me an iPad)

I do most my forum out of game stuff on an iPad and use my actual PC to play eve. Fine get on the PC and I can see these videos but it is a slight inconvenience for me and being in airports a lot will not lug around my laptop. I've been wanting to watch a lot of these videos users are posting as winter here in the states creates a lot of flight delays and I have the time.

Maybe no one has the answer if its just a formatting apple YouTube issue...but many of the video says the publisher or video uploaded has not given permission to have their video seen on "your platform".

Is this being done intentionally or is just an apple/youtube issue?

Thanks everyone! Would really appreciate some insight on this as I imagine people may be missing out on views if they aren't allowing their videos to be shown beyond a windows desktop.

It's nothing to do with Eve vid makers or any non-commercial content creators. It's a Youtube thing to do with automated media recognition and restriction due to copyright lobbies.

In short, they're selling your eyeballs.

Users who are not monetizing partners cannot change the distribution setting in the Advanced Settings tab of Video Manager.
If a user's video is a claimed video, the distribution setting of the claimant, not the user, will apply.
If a user's video is a video with a claim to the music contained within that video, the distribution setting of the claimant, not the user, will apply to the video.

sometimes if you acknowledge the copyright content on your videos it later becomes available to mobile devices
