A Margin Scamming Challenge

Hello everybody. Alex Grison Here.

Some of you may or may not have seen the tearful "Margin-Scamming-Is-An-Exploit-And-Eula-Violation" thread in the features and discussion forum. As can be seen here

( Don't worry, the tears have been properly contained and are awaiting vacuum removal )

Now. Onto business.

Here is the brief definition of "Exploit" as listed in the EULA

Quote:
"An exploit is when someone bypasses normal game mechanics, such as by utilizing a bug in the game, allowing him to take advantage of other players without them having any means of preventing it whatsoever.""

So based on that definition of "exploit" I would like to offer a reward of 100,000,000 isk to anyone who can margin scam me against my will.

In addition in the event that someone is successful. I will provide a complete write-up and analysis of how it was pulled off.

Ready Go.

I dont see the point of this competition since you have to be the active part anyway...
oh wait, or your just trying to find a semi-political proof for your opinion that margin trading scamming isnt a EULA Violation?

CCP says it isn't a EULA violation. Therefore it is not a EULA violation.

End of story.

we have a winner

But anyways. Surely if somone can margin scam me against my will. that would lend some evidence that it is indeed a EULA violation. So I guess we will just have to wait and see. ;)

sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant you being the "winner" as the person who got the idea behind it.

I suppose it wasn't clear that my opinion that a "margin scam" is so obviously not an exploit in the OP.

you just get a cookie.

well im affraid you got me wrong aswell then. I did not back your "opinion" up in anyway, i just said that your just trying to say something but not saying it.

I couldnt care less about it beeing a scam or not, but I wouldnt be suprised if it would violate the terms in one way or another

EDIT:
eat your cookie yourself, I want my 100 mil!

Sorta reminds me of when CCP said convo spamming wasn't an exploight then reversed themselves.
They have been proven wrong before.

I do have to say one thing about margin scamming, the scammer should have something to lose, as in ISK when orders actually fail, that way legitimate players wishing to engage in market wars, breaking the prices of said goods down is costly, the scammer should also have to pay up a similar amount if they wish to jack up the prices on said goods by making the prices "Look" higher then they really are.
