Drake range

Hi, so I've had about 8 months away from the game, when I left my drake had a missile range of around 70-75km, I've just tried to do a mission using it and it's saying my max range is 38km?! I'm using t2 heavy missile launchers and scourge fury. What's changed?

Turns out a long range weapon system that does the same damage as short range weapon systems is overpowered. Who knew?

I didn't fancy filtering through 8 months and 1-2 expansions worth of patch notes sorry. Thanks for the sarky remark also, much appreciated, I forgot people can't be socially normal on this forum.

http://community.eveonline.com/updates/patchnotes.asp -> Weapons and Ammo. I would read all the patch notes, especially the ship changes (aka tiericide.)

Basically, HMLs were nerfed. Other missiles were buffed. Guided Missile Precision and other Explosion Radius modifying modules now work on rockets, HAMs, and Torpedoes.

And since you're behind the curve, battlecruisers are getting tiericided as well: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=191595&find=unread


Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Try Caldari Navy Scourge. You'll get much better range, although slightly less DPS.

The only end-game content in EVE Online is the crap that makes you rage quit.

Missiles got a range and damage nerf, light drones are worthless, and the forums are still full of trolling basement dwellers.
